Problems with .mkv files

Just formated and reinstalled Windows Media Player Classic with the CCCP codec pack but now where i try to play .mkv files, the audio / subtitles and video doesnt match... there isnt a very long gap between them but it is there. Does anyone know what the problem is? Thanks..

Go to the settings in CCCP itself and choose to reset the settings.

1) As you just reformatted & reinstalled Windows:
- Make sure you have the proper video drivers installed (probably a redundant comment)
- Update Windows (again, you should have done this already)
- Update DirectX - http://www.microsoft.com/directx/

2) Are you trying to play files you could play before? Or are they different? Based on the PC configuration from your profile you probably will have trouble playing HD resolution anime.

3) Did you have CoreAVC installed before? If so, reinstall it.
