I'm somewhat thinking that they will not take this route of clothing.. Just a feeling, I mean they follow the Warden and dialogues just like you said, so it should be enough.

But it would be very interesting if they actually do adopt the ME2 non-changing clothing

I keep trying to convince myself that ME2's stance on wardrobe somehow makes 'sense' even when they land on a planet with an extreme environment. No, forget it. It doesn't. No amount of breathing masks and shields (that can be torn down by gunshots by the way) can take the place of a spacesuit and a suitable helmet.

I find it hard to suspend my disbelief when it comes to this sometimes.

Fortunately, DA2 won't have this problem if Bioware chooses to take a similar route when it comes to equipment. I do hope however, that armour and equipment loot will still be in the game. A good compromise would be somewhere down the middle: Hawke and his party all have unique skins but there will be a good number of them to keep players who wish to customize and micromanage things interested.

Come to think of it, I did see a screenshot of Hawke dressed in something different a while back.

I also imagine that it could be something like FF Tactics. Depending on the chapter or segment of the story, Hawke could be shown dressed differently to give the impression of time passing by.

I think they'll go the Morrigan route as far as clothing goes. There will be 'unique' to the character clothing that are obviously tailor-designed for the character in mind, and can only be worn by them, but there are also generic clothes that don't look as good, but still wearable. This bothered me a little bit in DA1, since only Morrigan came with a unique set of non-standard clothing, and the rest of the party? Generic armor/clothes only. Granted, there was the Warden Commander Armor from the DLC, but it doesn't look as spiffy compared to the CGi trailer's version. Or even Leliana's trailer sleeveless leather armor.

Besides, since DA2 will still have some mod support, not like the choice of clothings will ever be an issue. On the PC version, anyway.

Totally forgot about Morrigan's clothes . Indeed , this is a possibility .

I really hope that Bioware will let us make mod like DAO .

Dragon Age II Has A Noteworthy Belt

Ok, can anyone explain what the belt "Hindsight" actually does?

Hindsight is a belt possessed of a strange, slow intellect. Whatever would have killed the wearer, does. At that very moment, the belt develops a resistance that would have saved them. No one knows how Thaulid managed this, and at this point, it would be difficult to ask him. When the belt is held in the light just so, the leather reveals a grisly catalogue, etched in glinting lyrium:

"Thaulid Hammerspur , Fire.
Gorgut the wizened , poison.
Vil Arak , stabbed 43 times .
Haliath Baroneth , witches.

t went on like this for many years, until it fell into your possession. Your temporary, temporary possession.
I guess the belt does :

- Resist Fire
- Resist Poison
- Resist 43 hits hmmm
- Resist Witch

Lol, that's funky heh If I'm reading this right, for every owner killed the belt developed an resistance for the method of death, ensuring that future owners wouldn't suffer the same fate.

So...If you have enough people died from every possible means in the world...

That almost sounds like a game breaker item. Developing resistance against any attack....by dying first!

Thanks for the explanation -Sho-.

The last two are probably n% physical and magic resistance.

Starting to like the visuals of the new spells already Not sure what to think about the polearm exactly... So, I'll just leave it at that

How many female enemies have we faced (that are bosses) that are not witches/monsters? Um.... I can't think of any exactly..

Well to be fair darkspawn are male and that takes care of most of the enemies we fought in the original anyways. Bandits and mercenaries seem to be a discriminatory bunch. There was that knight that worked for Loghain. Think there were some female blood mages fought as well. Not a ton of female enemies, but a few.

Yeah. Ser Cauthrien was the hardest fight in Origins that I can remember. Two shotted the non-arcane mages.

Forgot this one , indeed , i restart the fight 3-4 times and the last one , i just ambush them in hallway. The bowmen were so annoying. My warden was fighting 1on1 vs Ser Cauthrien while the others killed them.

Checked if there were news about DA2 .

They added a new character , "Varric"

Spoiler for Pics:

Quote:
"I know everyone in this city. Well, everyone worth knowing."

Words are his trade, exaggeration his specialty—Varric can make or break a legend without lifting a finger. Born into a merchant guild, Varric never knew a dwarven homeland, and has never worked the Stone. He prefers a warm tavern fire, a mug that never empties, a willing audience, and an unwilling subject. He can spin a grand story of Ancestors and Paragons—or anything you like—but it’s not out of reverence. Truth is just another commodity. History is written by the victors, but it can also be written by Varric, who then decides the victors. If you want profit, look to his brother, Bartrand, a scoundrel with a true head for business. But if you want to be remembered, Varric is your man.

Varric will be the teller of Hawke's story in DA2
That's a fuc**** awesome crossbow
