A current anime?

i need a currently airing anime to watch and look forward to every week.
im not too picky, i like funny and cute things, but serious plots are okay.
im not really into shoujo or action-oriented shonen. mostly, i like seinen series.

im watching railgun but i need something else to look forward to.

heres a list of things i've seen/enjoyed

Lucky Star
Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuutsu
Ouran High School Host Club
Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni
Kannagi
Toradora
Axis Powers Hetalia
Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yuutsu/Nyoron Churuya-san
CLANNAD
Ichigo Mashimaro
K-On
Higashi No Eden
Umineko no Naku Koro Ni
GA Geijutsuka Art Design Class
Neon Genesis Evangelion
To Aru Kagaku No Railgun

You can check this thread that asked a similar question recently.

However on a personal level I think that the best currently airing series is by far Cross Game. And this is from someone that is also enjoying To Aru, This series in a little similar to CLANNAD in being a coming of age story (minus whatever small harem traces CLANNAD might have had), however it is much more down to earth, and the characters feel more humane. What we always recommend people is to watch at least the first episode. Normally people are sold after watching that.

Hanamaru Kindergarten might be up your alley. You could watch the current season of Hidamari Sketch, but you might want to watch the first two seasons beforehand. They're now both licensed, though only season one has been released on DVD.

Cross Game definately. I also recommend Bakemonogatari and Katanagatari.

Cross Game of course. You can also try Ryukishi07+Peach Pit's Ookami Kakushi since you enjoyed Higurashi and Umineko.
