From the people who brought you Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de (They Are My Noble Masters), comes another game turned anime. Animated by apparently a new studio, directed by Keitaro Motonaga (Katanagari, Tayutama, Onii-chan This Title Is Way Too Long).

I'm looking forward to it despite/because of how little I know. It has girls with swords. I can dig that.

This got me by surprise, I've played the visual novel and now it got an anime. I'm looking forward to the anime, Majikoi is a great game even better than Kimi Aru.

Nice good to see this is getting an anime. Was the best selling game of 2009, more surprised by how long it took for it to get an anime. Here's hoping the anime will get a decent adaptation like how Kimi ga Aruji anime turned out. Nothing like Tsuyokiss please.

The game is fantastic. Still, I feel as though it will be considerably less special, given that one reason the game was so special was because it used anime voice actors.

Yeah shame that I'll likely be only 12/13 eps. The game had a crapload of likeable characters which is more suited for a 24/26 ep series.

Imagine this Tomokazu Sugita (kyon from haruhi) played as a baldy Lolicon.

In a competition where the class that able to seduce their opponent win (LolWut?)

Oh and the fight and battle tactic just wonderful. The protagonist is one of the best tactician in the game making him diff than your usual dull average protagonist.


I'm a little bit warry about the anime staff though..............

Well seeing how they could butcher this easily I'm hoping for at the very least average quality with some important factor that they need to keep : The jokes, The fight and battle between tactician.

However nowaday Anime director and writer are lazyass. Especially with VN adaptation. They just butcher the original work into somehing that they've done before making it extremely boring.

Sadly I wouldn't expect this one to survive either.

Um, all of these voices were from the game and most of them are eroge seiyuus (done more eroge) than anime.

Oh cool, I never played the game nor do I know much or anything about this other than way back, I saw a pic of the long black haired, big breasted chick and so went to find the CG set of which she was part of.

Practically none compared to their mainstream anime and video game roles. Obviously they aren't normally in eroge, that's what made Majikoi so unique.

That's game OP? I'm very impressed with the generous amount of animated sequences. While I admit I'm not much of a game player, most OP sequence in the few games I was motivated to play has so much static images. Anyway, the premise looks very promising. A good comedy series has been lacking for sometime (Beelzebub is an exception). Do we yet know who the Animation Production is? The director for this show has been in part of some good anime such Katanagatari, Yumeria, and etc.
