Actually, isn't there romance at the end of Casshern Sins? Or whatever the hell was going on between him and Lyuze. I wasn't fond of it, was a good show until then (had to overlook Lyuze existing to begin with). Oh and there's Ringo, too, but I don't mind her so much. Actually, there's a bunch of female characters...
Hokuto no Ken I have not finished but have watched the movie for. You guys forgetting Yuria and Lin? |

I had totally forgotten about her...and she's technically a robot :P Sorry, but in my rather vast list of anime, I can't see any that haven't already been recommended and match your criteria. Most, if not all of the new anime include at least one girl, and it's usually a teen

I'm going to say The Daughter of Twenty Faces, even though the main character is both female and young (eleven, then thirteen for most of the story), the show itself is very interesting for almost completely averting typical anime fanservice. Chiko is the anti-moe. Also Seirei no Moribito, the main female character is definitely not a one-dimensional sexual objectification of women. In fact, she's pretty badass.

While I suppose this thread could also double as a request for decent female characters (though that is subjective), I really don't want to watch anything where the main character is under 18. I'm kind of tried of it.
Seirei no Moribito was very good, also one of my favorites. |

Seen all those, too. ._.
Though I am not that fond of Miyazaki's work, he at least avoids fanservice. edit: I'll read through that thread too. edit again: Hahaha people suggested a lot of things that are far more adult-oriented than I expected after you said "I'm still only 14 with my parents always watching me." Witchblade is just pure fanservice. |

If you want to see a decent female cast, try watching Claymore (if you haven't seen it yet). Fantasy, action, mature characters. The male lead is sometimes annoying, but another male characters are pretty good. And females are just fantastic. No romance, no fanservice.

How about some Yaoi? lol jp... what an odd request, I generally don't like all male / all female casts, it doesn't feel right to me...
Anyway... um about Hajime no Ippo? There's females but extremely small roles, so small that you forget they exist. Lot's of half to fully naked men and minor penis grabbing jokes. It's a boxing series so it's mostly about fighting.

Yes, One Outs, Akagi and Kaiji are some of my favorite shows (and I didn't even think I liked baseball!).
HayashiTakara: Lol, well, if you don't mind recommending "good" yaoi (that isn't just a poor excuse for pornography) like Fuyu no Semi and to a lesser extent Legend of the Blue Wolves. Of course we'd have the same problem of trying to find something I haven't seen! I will be watching Hajime no Ippo eventually. Claymore for some reason I had lost interest in, perhaps because someone said it was a bad adaptation, I don't remember. I will think about that, too. |
