Different situation entirely. Hyuk was entirely cool and rational since he was a child, and to see someone who breaks common sense like Shioon does intimidated him. The doc is more experienced, so I think the he will just give him some respect. Actually, he already pretty much has just by coming out. He hasn't been challenged in 30 years, much less by a kid. Shioon has some serious stones on him.

Well Shioon is just buying some time. It doesn't matter if he wins or loose.

This will raise his stock among the Murim. Not only has he impressed leaders among them with Doc being a new addition it will show on record he fights the SUC which is threatening the whole masquerade.

It doesn't matter if he was the the 9 Arts Dragon's disciple Shioon made a reputation for himself in a few short months of being a normal to a beast like his master.

Evidently its an indefinite hiatus. The artist expresses regrets, etc. The author went to Vietnam for whatever reason and couldn't be reached, leaving the artist with nothing to work with. No idea when he will be back.

Hopefully it will be back next week, but no guarantees. >.<
