While it may be a hint to who the 5th character is, I wouldn't say it's conclusive. Just pointing out that Elena, Hugo and Retsu are the only characters not in AE isn't enough, AE for one has the largest roster in SF history, Elena and Hugo where just featured in SFxTk as well.

We'll find out soon enough anyway, I'm pretty sure they'll show off the 5th character in a new trailer @ Capcom Cup.

They said the 5th character has never been selectable in a fighter game before but is in SF canon.

So say Ken's wife Eliza, Hakan's wife, all the Cammy clone dolls except for the Juni and Juli, Sakura's friend, Goutetsu (Akuma and Gouken's master, yeah he's dead but so was Gouken lol) Go Hibiki (again dead lol) and SF 1 characters not in other games can be the 5th character.

It's Shinkiro's style, he was @ SNK until they laid him off when they went bankrupt and he has been @ Capcom ever since. Fittingly did Capcom Vs SNK 1/2 as well as TVC among other things.

The same person who leaked double ultras and red focus said it was a female character.

The character being one of the dolls is a separate leak.

Considering Capcom themselves were pretty much saying, "Please don't get hype over the last character... it's not that great..." with the reveal of being able to play as any SF4 version of a character...

lol I know. Just having a little fun. That's why I posted that with that emoticon.

Rumors a few months ago said it was gonna be a clone. The teleport follow ups look interesting, but like Combofiend said, her character still isn't finished.

Edit:When I saw something about a new character select screen I thought it was gonna be like that fan-made one. Just a nitpick about something I would have liked.

I dun geddit, I have Super Street Fighter IV... and now they have Ultra Street Fighter IV... can they not count above IV? Or are game versions differentiated by power words? o.O

You're thinking of Street Fighter IV as an entry in the Street Fighter series. This is the wrong way of thinking. Street Fighter IV is actually a series in the Street Fighter franchise and Ultra Street Fighter IV is the latest entry in the Street Fighter IV series.

They are using the same game engine (which constitutes 80-90% of the game). They are only adding new models and making rule tweaks to the engine. People will cry foul if they add the version number just because of that.

Decapre looks hella good, though lol @ removing c.hp counterhit into ultra for Cammy and yet decapre can combo into c.hp and go into ultra

Edition Select is local only at the moment and if enabled will only be for endless lobby. It's a fun addition since it can settle who is the strongest debate but for the japanese arcade scene, the worldwide tournament scene, ranked online and well online period it's going to be all about ultra.

The game releases in Japanese arcades next month, her moveset, looks etc are final. When he means not finished he means frame data. Like his example in this clip is her being able to do ultra right after crouching heavy punch.

Because it's a six year old game being updated by a skeleton crew as they're probably prepping SF 5 for a release in the next few years?

That's not to say that actual balance changes aren't hard work, they are but most people aren't going to appreciate frame data changes and balance tweaks compared to obvious stuff.

Hype died. Meh...PC Mods can make a Decapre moveset and the original look, this is just a cash in to save money.

Also 100% sure the alternate costume is the original costume with a full face mask.
