Seems like it's not quite the clusterfuck it is IRL, but Alt V seems to be killing it...

We know that in 2001, it's apparently where it was in 2011, doing flight tests and weapons tests, though the program itself seems somewhat slow... also, unlike the strike fighter F-35 IRL, the TSF F-35 can apparently turn and burn and dance with a Typhoon, so that's something.

Plus, since TSFs are already V/STOL aircraft, the F-35B has less issues than the IRL version.

... I really want one...

Its slow because in MLverse, the US is putting all its eggs in the Alt V basket. Then in Alt post Ouka, they might have scrapped or revised the plans, since the western bloc might have more interest in the Takemi's instead, having proven it can survive Hive Combat... mostly...

Still, we have almost no news apart from the basics up till 2001.

The railgun test simulation prologue is included, followed by a scene where Yui reminisces about her father, whom was responsible for the development of both the Zuikaku and the Type 74 Long Blade. Yuuya's past when he was a Raptor test pilot is also elaborated.

Does anyone have a copy of Dengeki Muv-Luv Vol.3? Care to share any info on the game? I heard that we get to see in the game or the manga a squad of elite Shiranui ICs at the Battle of Kyoto, though even the regular Shirauni had small deployment numbers at that time since it was barely introduced and there should definitely be more Kagerous.

My brain's somewhat melted down--were there any canonical references that can point out the TDA characters in the Alternative timeline? TDA occurs a couple of years after the Alt V ships have left--since that never happened in ML:A, I'm wondering how many of the characters in TDA wold still have become part of the military units--for example, I'm fairly sure that Miono Shizuku would never have been drafted, and Marimo being CHOMPED means some things would not have happened as they might have...

Was the guy in IG uniform in one of those smaller image windows Yui's dad? Because if he was, I think Yui definitely didn't inherit her beauty from mom's side...

Also, the CryskaxYui hug thing was positively fabulous. I approve.

I hope they will focus on Takeru while he fights in the black Takemikazuchi, and it will pretty much conclude the prequel to Alternative.

On another note, contrary to the anime version, Zhar Battalion will be back with a squadron of Su-37M2s in the game. In Operation Ouka we will see a silver Berkut along with the rest of the regular Berkut, most likely attached to the guards tactical armored division. Not sure whether the silver one will be a separate model or a personal color like the Typhoons.

Let's just render the anime version of everything moot except the Kyoto Invasion. It will be nothing more than a visual spectacle.

TE Memorial night has been rescheduled, so some announcements better happen. Maybe Chronicles 04's TDA 03 will be even longer than TDA 02, which means we will have very little expectation for the Chronicles component. Not sure whether this will mark the end of Chronicles as a whole as well.
