that is something i can't believe!

Here is a question for you to answer for me, why didn't the thief of crumbling dirt, didn;t do her crumbling dirt thing, like she did before when she was after the staff of destruction?

It's seems to me like she took thr more difficult route...

The walls are protected against magic. It was mentioned in the episode itself.

Louise's magic however, is special, hence its' ability to damage the walls.

The manga adaptation has only recently begun it's serialization on the newly-created monthly magazine, Comic Alive. There are 2 chapters out so far.

Zero no Tsukaima is originally a light novel series. There are currently 8 volumes out, with volume 9 due to come out in September.

Look at the novel discussion thread if you want to learn more.

Are there any chinese publishers that bought and translated the novels yet for ZnT? Sort of like what they did with Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu?

Something that piques my curiosity.

During the OP video at a late time the footage shows a fighter plane, looks like to be from the WWII era, flying and passing by Saito and the gang riding on Tabitha's dragon.

I know it's a possible, potential spoiler so only reply me with either a 'yes' or 'no' hidden in a spoiler tag.

1. Does that plane plays an important plot device for the story?

2. What type is it?

Question: Up till now vol.8 or 9 of the manga of Zero no Tsukaima. Is the manga faster than the anime right now?

If so, I was just wondering of the possibilities of OVA or...perhaps another season?. No, I havent read manga yet, just want to finish the series first.

Zero no Tsukaima is not a manga, it's a novel. There are 8 volumes out so far, with vol.9 soon to be released later this month. There is a manga adaptation in progress as well, but it's still relatively new, with only a few chapters out so far.

The anime's main story is based on vol.1 of the novel, with minor events from vol.3-5. Vol.2 and 3 will make up the anime's finale (already in progress).

As for the typical question of "will there be an OVA/second season?", the answer is always the same: it's a good idea to assume there won't be, because that's usually the case for anime adaptations of light novels/bishojo games. If an OVA/second season is announced, then great, if not, no disappointments.
