Interesting, though also a bit rough in several places.

Like the part where they translated Leila saying "Tokyo" when she clearly used no such word.

I also don't think Akito used the Japanese term for "revolution" either.

And I'm sure there are other nitpicks concerning this translation, but those are the only ones that jumped out at me.

Seems there's either 2 main action scenes, or the they happen in the same segment in 1 big action scene:

-Glide wing drop into city, fight the Asura Squad
-Xin attacks the Wyvern castle, fight in the forest, nearly kills Akito

OR

-City fight, Akito's rape mode activates, Xin has to take action to stop him

I think about all the britannian characters in those illustrations, how many will die in 2 seconds? How many will have 3-4 words dialogue? how many will survive?

You can call it "dorothea plot destiny". XDXD

Probably the one who talks and a few others will survive. I picture they'll suffer the same fate as the knight of rounds.

Or the same fate of literally thousands of named cannon fodder in mecha anime. News at 11.

That said, I think the comparison is misleading as I imagine most of them will at least get to fight for a while before getting killed.

Dorothea and Monica, the Knights of the Round in question, died without doing anything against their opponent (who was more than a full KMF generation ahead in tech).

I doubt that'll happen here, so...

At least two options come to mind:

a) He did technically try to die...but somehow managed to survive as well.

b) The command might have been affected by some other external factor before or after the fact.

Some reason I have a feeling its really close to Suzaku's don't die geass.

If Akito has a great willpower, he could have surpassed the order.

Episode 2 is too much soon for a death of some japan character.

To be accurate, it was one Alexander against a whole bunch of Sutherlands. Which, as we all should know, aren't very capable machines.

The two Gloucesters put up more of a fight, even if they still lost due to Akito's skills and surprise attacks, and the next episode will have a lot more of them (or their variants).

In fact, I seem to recall one of the magazine scans explicitly said the performance of an Alexander is similar to that of a Gloucester.

And well...the other Alexander units blew themselves up, so it's hard to judge that as "surviving without any loss" I'd think.

Presumably they'll be easily outclassed by either the original Lancelot or by Shin's weird Lancelot-derived machine.

Britannia was researching anti-gravity. Compare to that, the glider wing look low tech. Also note that Alexander is one of the lightest KMF in the Code Geass universe, with next to no armour to speak of. So it is probably the only Knightmare that can conceivability fly with conventional wing attachments.

I told about alexander is more powerful not for what we seen in episode one, but for episode 2, where the layla squad of 5 alexander, everyone with special weapons, those kmf can run and they're more faster of glowcester, sutherland, etc...
I think the only britannian kmf enough fast will be the gold centaur.

For merchandise, japan authors made a lot of chaos with storyboard.
