So, when I watched the first episode of Overlord, I thought "Why a gamer with a skeleton avatar named himself a flying squirrel? But whatever...". Anyway, flying squirrels are still scary though

I'm speaking generally of course. So far all the popular hyped anime have been the ones with high production value but lacking in proper execution.

Oh well, I feel this series would be highly interesting if it has the main character interacting with his other servants more. I'm not sure how the light novel goes but I find more potentials in this one out of all the mmorpg novels, the fact that every character the main characters interacts with are NPCs is a novel idea to me.

Remember he is a human facing a grandiose idea. How many times have you found yourself speaking your mind aloud about something insurmountable? Everyone there see him as perfect, but he is far from it, as long his mind is still human that is.

It's been since Megami Tensei 4 since I heard Principality... I hear that Dominion was the one that was summoned with the giant crystal, so I guess the higher-ups like Throne and Seraphim exist in the setting.

That MC is OP and I'm enjoying it. At least it's believable, unlike SAO.

I'm really curious to see how the other kingdom will react to this. They got "rekt". Will they try to find powerful mercenaries? More OP items? Gather a huge army? Try to "buy" him?

I want to see his loyal servants in action too!

Overlord Combat Maid Squad "Pleiades Six-Stars" Gets Comedy Spin-Off

So Momonga, or Ains Ooal Gown, is changing. He's turning into one of the undead who doesn't feel anything when seeing people die. That's cool.

His OPness was awesome. He was toying with those soldiers and he was laughing when he experienced damage after a long time. Badass skeleton man.

So things still aren't that clear about where the hell Momonga and friends are. It appears that the rulers of those kingdoms are players of Yggdrasil, since their soldiers have the game abilities. It could be that they had some kingdom like thing or a large number of NPCs or something under their command and they ended up making themselves rulers just like Momonga rules his place. Or maybe abilities from the game were randomly (or maybe specifically) given to people of this world and they started using their powers for whatever use.
Those adventurers could be Yggdrasil players who weren't that high level like Momonga.

The last part was interesting where Demiurge tells the conversation he had with Momonga. Momonga probably doesn't really want to take over the world. He just wants himself to be known throughout so that if there are any other players out there they could contact him. But his NPCs are gonna try and take over the place. It'll be even more brutal considering they hate low lifeforms, aka humans.

This'll be very interesting from now on.

Awesome, there was a thought that crossed my mind during ep 3 and that was this series needs a special ep showing the daily life of Nazarick where the cast breaks into song and dance.
