unfair to whom? vino? if he was still in his youth i'd say i'm not too sure about shizuo's safety... he might go rail tracing on him... just thinking about it gives me goosebumps.
oh... i was hoping he became an immortal too *sigh* oh well... i'll go with firo instead. |

If they do another season, it'll likely to be novel 4-6, which forms a story arc. Novel 4 took place 6 months after the 2nd novel, and it's now a new school year, with 3 significant new students, Aoba, and Izaya's twin sisters. The Russian mob, Yakuza, traditional biker gang all got involved as well as more super natural beings like Celty. It does end in a sort of cliffhanger, but a good place to stop. Supposedly the pacing is a whole lot better than the first 3 novels, and weird things continues to happen.

And I can't wait to see a bigger version of the cover for volume 8, I think it's the coolest cover out of the bunch.

Maybe this was posted in the thread, maybe not. I don't want to spoil myself with all the replies in the thread.
Does Kida know that Mikado is the founder/leader of the dollars, or does Mikado know that Kida is the leader of the Yellow flags? |

So the whole Saika deal took around 4 episodes. Anyone else being optimistic that we might get more than just Kida's story by the end of the anime? I was hoping to see Hollywood in action =(, but Kida's arc just seems such a nice way to end the anime.

maybe they will add an anime original for the ending. From what I learned in this thread. Vol 4 is connected to the next volume while the 2nd and 3rd are directly connected or happen simultaneously.
does this all happen on vol 3? or later part of the novel? becuase it will be totally awesome. I want to see the reaction of kida-kun when he finds it out. |

Novel 4 took place at the start of Mikado's 2nd year in High School, and 5-6 flows immediately after that. So there is an appreciated gap of time between novel 3 and novel 4. It's flows logically that novel 4-6 can be adopted as the 2nd season. Quote:
