Regarding Zone of the Enders

What does ADA stand for?

I could guess the first being Advanced, but the rest of the letters are still unknown to me or maybe it was never revealed in the game.

Does anybody know what the other two letters might stand for?

Hell, make up your own if you want xD

When ZOE is mentioned in a board he shall appear!! In his joy that Zone of the enders is not yet completely forgotten he shall appear! The one the only, DingoEnderZOE2 is here to answer your question!

Now since it wasn't mentioned in either of the games, it's safe to say ADA doesn't really stand for anything, it's just a name for the artificial intelligence that's installed in Jehuty.

I don't think it was ever mentioned in the games either. Wikipedia doesn't even have any info regarding the abbreviation. Then again, I played that game long ago that I would find it hard to remember something like that.

I heard that Hideo Kojima is interested in making a 3rd ZOE. I hope this is true.

What will the story be about though? The conflict is still on for sure, but Jehuty could pretty much destroy anything by now.

It's a little late but, if I remember correctly, ADA stands for Advanced Detachable A.i.

Aumaan Destruction A.I.?

Her voice in JP is cute. Sounds much younger than the dub voice. Makes sense why Leo became attached to her, other than for her encouraging words.

I want zoe box set dammit. >_> I played both games, lost both(read raped by my nephew). Maybe with ZOE3 that'll come in the far far future? :O We'll probably hear something abot ZOE3 late this year or next year. I'm sure that development has started though.

Kojima said it's multi-platform.

Actually, nothing has been officially announced if I'm not mistaken, except for Kojima citing interest in the idea, and possibly developing it for the PS3 or the 360. It could still be exclusive to one console, and frankly I'd rather have Kojima do his best focusing on one platform than split his time between multiple versions.

People are simply assuming it's going to be for the PS3 due to MGS4, the previous games being on the PS2 and how Kojima seems to be very supportive for Sony.

I second this.

Those gundam games have nothing on this when it comes to combat.

Nothing at all

Yeah I always somewhat liked mech games in the past. Now I only like ZOE. I need the fast mech action. You can't go back to those slow paced games after playing ZOE.

For people who know the music for 2nd Runner/Anubis, which is the track for the VR training? (the one that I heard sounds different)

well for me its more this was the first real mecha game I played(yet to come across anything that played even half as good) so any game after just felt meh.
Only games I can think of that entertained for a wee bit were some Armored Core and Mech Assault ones but nothing on the level of ZOE.

I remember first time I played ZOE was at a friends and was the 2nd game I bought for my PS2

used to skip free periods at school to go play at friends house good auld days

Track 6.

I'm assuming you listened to the tracks on Youtube? The guy on there got some of the titles mixed up.

I never liked the anime. I got too used to the fast action of the game, the anime is like its slow cousin.

The only suggestion for improvement for ZOE is lengthen the gameplay (more missions) and more Orbital Frames.

But the storyline itself is excellent!

I liked the first game over the second because of it's mood and tone. They need to make a sequel closer to the first's theme.
