Finally got around to watching this anime, and...oh man...uh...I have no words for this. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOO good.

Ginga was great too. Kinda sad at the end, but I loved it. I love how they resolved it too. It really amazed me.

But overall I really loved the whole OVA. It was just awesome. They couldn't have done a better job in my book. All the charecters were very likable (or hatable respectively) and they did plenty of good charecter development in the short period of time that they had. The old woman in the tunnel was a riot too.

Has anyone else seen this show? What did you guys think of it?

Yeah, it is a great movie, first I thought damn, a kid's movie, but then I got hooked up. I never expected this movie to be thta good.

I watched it a while back (in the vhs days) and still like it very much. The second time I watched it I decided not to watch it anymore. Ending was too depressing for me.

Wow, I had the totally opposite impression of this movie. It was like they tried to compress a whole tv series into one two hour movie. The pacing was terrible and the story moved too quickly for me to care about any of the characters.

I do agree with you Go-lytely. They most certainly did rush this a bit too fast. I think if they broke it down into a 13 episode series and redid it by the newer standards, I think it would be a totally awesome series. Plus they might actually be able to give us a much better picture of what happened at the very end rather than just a few lines telling about something that supposidly happened in the future.

Man, he must have been a fertile young pup, cause he got her pregnant on the first try!! 0_0 Perty good in my book. Kinda sad he had to go kill himself afterwords. Kinda sad his sister died too.
