Poor Tatsuya. He tries so hard to stay incognito and low-key, and it's Miyuki's brocon that drags him into the limelight time and time again ... no wonder he's freaked out.

Could you? Even if you're not into the little sister, she is quite adorable.

Quick question, Vol. 1-2 ist web arc 1, Vol. 3-4 is web arc 2 (school competition) with Vol. 5 being SS, is that so far correct? I think I read somewhere that the original web novel will have 15 novels, with its current pacing, can we expect 30+ novels (with SS)?

The author once comments he want to do around 20-25 volumes of novel, not sure if he counts the side story or not. Popularity and high sales might change his mind though so only time will tell.

It's like kuroishinigami said, I think. I can't confirm what the author said, though, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was 20-25 volumes. Given the length of the web novels, Arc 4 is about half the length of Arc 1, and Arc 5 and Arc 6 are about half the length of Arc 2 each, so it's possible Volumes 6, 7, and 8 will catch up to the web novels.
If you think like that, it's entirely possible the whole series, should it continue as the author planned, will be within the 20-25 volume range. Also, since the author was writing these for free before, even if he is dropped from serialization, it is entirely possible that he will continue with web novels until his story is done.

as much as i love this series, i have to give the translators some mad props.

Reading whats translated, im suprised they havent had a brain fart yet trying to get all the explanation done.

Its like writing physics from japanese to english when you yourself is trying to learn physics. :P

This series looks popular enough to get an anime.

I would say its a shoo-in for an anime, but probably not until next year or the year after at the earliest. More of the light novels need to come out first. The popularity isn't bad though.

Man this is LN section. I wish someone would just go updated the manga thread so we can find it in the first page, not have to search through all the past pages here (well, I also posted a lot about manga here).

This.

Seriously applauding the translators for this novel since its hard to translate complex explanations from japanese to english and it takes one hell of a time.

^^ Yeah, it's not like I care about the scientific terms in that novel at all. It's complicated, and it's fiction. The author just mixed together some scientific knowledge in real life with fiction. I don't really think understanding it would help us in real life at all.

And I don't think most people would be good at physics either, I hate it the most even when I am studying engineering (in media tech).

I appreciate the translators' effort to translate such complicated terms and explanation that are mostly fictional and I don't wish to discourage them from continuing the translation just because they got some complicated scientific terms (some that are fictional) wrong. We should complain about it to the author for writing down so much explanation and terms that'll be useless after a few pages.

I bumped the manga thread as you wished ^^;

You can find it here if it moves back too far behind.
