I think last year was the complete genocide of foreign IPs since I recall getting a code or two on occasion in 2010.

I use to be able to vote. In 2010 I could get a code, but not vote on 2ch, though I think there was a viable alternate (or was that 2009?). Last year I could not even get a code.

I've not bothered to try this year. Even though I would vote for Rena taking a few more girls home this year (her list has been empty of late).

Like some of the others, I too was able to vote in 2010; but by that time, in my case IPs were "one use only" per vote (the IP got banned after voting) which forced me to get a new one for a new match. Last year was a different story. A complete ban. So I resorted to using certain methods to get a usable Japanese IP...

I think Wanderer meant the dismal total number of votes for this first day aren't something one would call intense.

The numbers are a far cry from last year's (admittedly controversial) fire starter of a first day.

As a big fan of both the Saki anime and the titular character herself, I'm very pleased with these results. I hope that the Saki girls can continue to wield their masterful moe magic through J-SaiMoe!

Talk about cutting it close. Saki barely made it. This will easily be momentum for the other powerhouses of Saki. Today, the matches nearly speak for themselves as to who is going to win.

"Lose a battle but win a war" Looking at early results, Saki may be using that tactic in two of today's matches.

One 1st prelim leader is barely holding a lead, while another is trailing by more than a few votes (Even though the latter doesn't involve a Saki Rep in the match).
