Not wasting time, I flew away from the area and scanned my surroundings for ‘Reinforce’. I saw her just as she was raising her hand to fire from the formation of one large Mid-Childa sigil surrounded by eight smaller ones. This is Hayate’s tactical bombardment spell!

“Hresvelgr...” she said with her right arm raised and ready to drop as a trigger action.

Sigh… No rest for the disadvantaged one? My head is starting to hurt from all this manipulation. Not to mention I don’t have much energy left for reforming my instant spell gear. Guess I’ll just have to go autopilot. I tossed unit 01 over to my left hand and I slotted open Almaria to punch in a short series of buttons. I felt the magic particles react to the manual command.

“Ready, Almaria?”

[Yes, Chief.]

I thrust my sword downwards causing a large Mid-Childa sigil forming at the tip. After formation, I dragged the symbol and sword to aim forward, all the while automatically absorbing magic particles into the circle.

[Blaze Pheonix.]

I thrust my sword into the sigil, sending out a cobalt figure of a phoenix soaring towards the target. It doesn’t end there, though. Following through, I drew out one of my Roulettes and attached it in place of Unit 01’s normal loader. Two consecutive clicks followed as twelve cartridges of energy were loaded into the sword. I instantly felt it vibrate violently due to the high concentration of energy. “Conjunction Assault: Option VI.”

[Understood. Acceleration Field: Catapult]

A powerful field of acceleration energies formed where the spell circle was earlier, outlined by a Belka symbol this time. I looked at my sword with a sharp pang of regret. You’ve done a lot for me today. I’ll make sure I’ll take better care of your successor; maybe I’d even give him a proper name. I inserted my sword into the symbol, instantly feeling the monstrous pull of the catapult. Before releasing the sword, I let out a command just as ‘Reinforce’ fired her spell.

“Buster Pheonix!”

Unit 01 was slung forward in an astounding speed and caught up with the Blaze Pheonix earlier. Upon contact, the sword exploded and enlarged the outline of the Pheonix into ten times it size, with the wings folded back slightly now; and also accelerating it to the earlier speed of my sword.

The clash of the two attacks was incredibly explosive. The ground reached by the explosion was vaporized instantly by the conflicting energies. I must say, this clash is nothing short of amazing. That attack had the power of a Breaker spell! Heck, if this were a TSAB administered planet, battleships would surround us right now. But this isn't really the time for daydreaming while watching fireworks, is it?

I reactivated Unit 02 and reloaded the cartridge container. Alright, "Restriction Shot: Struggle Bind." I aimed at her general direction. She isn't moving yet, I just know it. Not stopping, I drew out two spell cards, activated them, and sent the two floating in front of the charging barrel, "Shot Options: Blitz Rush and Tracking." After loading five cartridges, I fired off the shot, going through both cards as well. Despite my fatigue, I decided that I'll have to use this spell as well.

[Sonic Move]

In a flash of movement, I was now behind a restrained 'Reinforce'. Seems like the shot was successful. Her arms and wings were pinned to her body while her legs were bound together by the glowing chains of my Struggle Bind.... Well, she's not changing appearance even with the Struggle Bind wrapped around her. This is her real appearance? Then, could it be? I guess this small confirmation will suffice for the moment.

Approaching her from behind, I draped my right arm around her shoulders, also slightly leaning on her for support due to exhaustion... Damn, hopefully this doesn't look like I'm hitting on her. Grinning, I scolded her like how I scolded Hayate after our first mock battle years ago, "Naughty girls get the Bind. Now, can you talk to me instead of trying to blow my head off?"

"............................."

I couldn't help but arc an eyebrow in exasperation when she plaintively ignored me and looked down sideways, trying to move her arms and releasing an amount of magic power that even I felt; they couldn't move. Next, she looked lower and tried shifting her legs against the bonds; the result? Still the same.

"Hey, the least you can do is look at me when I talk to you. After all, you almost killed me for around fifty times today." I tried making my voice sound as disappointed as possible.

She slowly lifted her head, and then looked sideways at me with her head tilted slightly. Heh. Well, if it weren’t for the situation, I’d be commenting on how stunning her eyes are. Nonetheless, her eyes betrayed no emotion, just matching my stare with a blank one of her own. The smallest crease formed on her delicate brow as she gave me the slightest of frowns. Her eyelids drooped for a micrometer. She looked forward and announced her next move.

“Reactor Purge.”

Her armor (Barrier Jacket) reacted to her command; blowing away the binds in a powerful explosion.

… Really now, don’t you dare think I didn’t expect that.

Wow, and I wondered where it could go after Part 3.1 Now what happens next? In terms of raw firepower used I'd only imagine firing the battlecruiser's main cannon to top everything tried already Otherwise it should be some neat trick, though the binds also appeared ineffective

Let me go dig up Kha's and Sakura's circles then. Both of them have 2 circles, one granted by the God Empress, the Velka Trinity, and the other being their own for when they use their unique spells.

Usually the symbol of "Chaos" are arrows that begin at the same place but point to different directions and also have different length.

I'm not crazy enough to include Aurion beating R1 back to the Ethereal realm in my scenario. Like I said before, I don't intend him to beat Reinforce here. That would be too broken. Aurion is definitely not as powerful as the Aces when magical stamina is concerned. But he has lots of strategies to counter even the most powerful spells. If you would notice, Reinforce's version of Hresvelgr (nine magic circles instead of Hayate's five) was estimated to be quite EVEN MORE powerful than standard Breaker moves. Aurion, not being capable of such feats easily by his own magic supply, was forced to use a lot from the surroundings, as well as using twelve cartridges, not to mention sacrificing an above-average armed device just to match it quickly. And about the seemingly infinite mana part, It has something to do with your haxx battalion. I'll consult you first before I get to that part later. It has something to do with Reinforce.

And yes, please prepare for the CLIMAX! The tentative title for that part is 'Part 4 : Endgame'.

And Fate vs Ojii-chan = Oozing with badass, although what did Armstrong do to Fate? And Hikki, you're standing on a thin line between friendship and adultery there (despite it being Nanoha's fault) In all, awesome chapter

Point of contention though: Didn't Fate switch to using Plasma Lancers, and not Photon Lancers? (Although, there's no reason she can't use it, but still...)

Note that this is intended to be quite an old-fashioned device (note the manual lever action Cartridge system).

Apologies for the quality, but I only know how to use MSpaint, so you'll have to take 'em as they are.

Bronzion Hammer... looks a little too poppy in color scheme. Too bad Kha's better at a spear, otherwise he'd have that sword instead. It's so mecha-musume it fits to a T.

I Wiki'd the rest, using the characters that I knew best fitted them. You can tell which Epic Spirit is Zine Knuckle's from its seiyuu. Now to raise the cash to pay for this all-star cast...

@Everyone: Come up with your OC's seiyuu soon? I wanna add it to the CrosyS ED I'm writing here.

My head is just spinning with ideas... Looks like this thread is going to be flooded tonight.

Yeah. What better Seiyuu to use other than the that of the enigmatic Shu Shirakawa of the SRW franchise?

Speaking of SRW, Riko Hirai voices a character there too. Her character is Latooni Subota, one of my favorite loli characters of all time.

Hmm, sounds tough, but I'll see what I can do about this...

[EDIT:] Ok, here they are:

Maren - Mikako Takahashi (Machi of Nagasarete Airantou, but more serious)
Minawa Koji - Suzumura Kenichi (like Sanada Hajiki in Gad Guard)
Air Calibur - Derflinger, that sword in Zero no Tsukaima (don't know who the seiyuu is)
'Keshi' - the Seiyuu who voiced Issei Ryudo (Fate/stay night)

It's sort of hard to grasp the correct Seiyuu for Maren, and Mikako Takahashi is the only seiyuu I can think of whose voice is closest to the one I have in mind...
