Someone in high places really has a boner for Fujita's 90s mangas hard enough to order anime adaptation of them .
The recent Ushio to Tora anime is a decent-to-great adaptation. Here's hoping Karakuri gets the same treatment, if not better. After all, the manga has 43 volumes which is longer than Toriyama's Dragon Ball manga. They need to be all-out in adapting this. My dream would be the same people who brought us HxH (2011), JoJo or the aforementioned Ushio to Tora anime.

Definitely one of the worst-case scenarios that I'm prepared for .

It could've been so much worse, like the current Hoshin Engi anime . Oh, and AKIKAN's wish from back then in Ushio thread actually came true :

In a way, yes. One of the protags (Narumi) is a martial artist while the other protag (Shirogane) is a puppet-master with her rather-scary puppet, Arlequin. Both work together to protect Masaru almost throughout the series.
Many of the battles themselves are puppet-oriented. Imagine some fights done by Kankuro, Sasori or Granny Chiyo from Naruto and you'll get the idea. But like UTT, there's a good story in it too. If you're interested, there's also animanga about another puppet-master called Karakurizoushi Ayatsuri Sakon that tells the story of Sakon and his puppet, Ukon.

Karakuri Circus is one of my favourite shounens. Seeing it get an adaption makes me really happy.
At the very least, I would hope that the story does a faithful and non-rushed adaption all the way till the Sahara Desert Arc.

Well, there are few good stopping points as far I remember. It shouldn't be too hard if they want to do incomplete or multi-season adaptation. |

If it's the latter, let's hope they have damn good scriptwriters & directors to pick the best story elements from the manga, tie them together well and execute it with enough grace and style.
