Oh, almost forgot. Even though Pokemon Black and White are technically DS games, the Xtransceiver uses the DSi-on's camera. So Japanese version of Pokemon Black and White will not work on a DSi, DSi XL, or 3DS from a different region. As far as I know, there is some level of region-lock on DS games that use the camera. Few DS games use the camera anyway, but this may still be an important piece of information.

But what they haven't told is is what it is actually for, if it isn't meant to stop the 2nd hand market. So much blatant lying by companies these days... I wish at some point they would be held to account directly.

Devil Survivor: Overclocked launches in NA first? source siliconera
Come on, need pal publisher... This week Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. Looks like the game is getting some bad PR, thanks to the one save per game and not erasable save file. Apparently some retailers who specialises in buying second hand games at at rip off rate and reselling at a massive profit, aka repacking them as new, refuses to stock this title. My opinion bad move from capcom, but i am collector anyways. |

Senran kagura is shaping up pretty well. It will even have an animate anime style opening. Read more on andriasang.com for the OP, and PR material

Oh just popping in to say I saw some of the trailers on EShop.
Mario looks good, Mariokart looks better and ResEvil Revelations looks pretty damn good as well but what caught my attention the most was Starfox. Now that there has got me rather excited for reasons unknown to me, considering I never actually bought the game all those years ago. If I ever wanted to play it I just went over to a mates to play but I never felt a need to get it myself. I'm def keeping a eye on that. Now for the ResEvil Merc thing, I think stupid can apply but for now I'm not inclined to get a copy, never did decide to get on release day and thought I'd pick up a cheap copy later but I doubt I will get it 2nd hand now. Just gonna have to wait for new copies to drop in price alot which I'd guess will be some time. BTW any one know any good titles to get off of EShop? I've had a little browse but nothing really caught my attention.

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D is kind of addictive, but content wise it is a bit lacking, especially the maps. I want more maps and characters, even non resident evil ones.
I think capcom should at least allow people to wipe the medals/achievements, because that makes buying a a used copy kind of unattractive. Apparently you can wipe the save with a 3rd part device, nds adaptor plus. Looks like those secondhand shops have to train their staff, if it is even possible... |

By the way I tried Mario 3DS and it's really better than the DS game. It's funnier and stages're more interesting. 3D in Mario & Mario Kart's well done & surprisingly not tiring for the eyes. I guess they're improving this feature.

New Final Fantasy title for 3ds, but it is probably not what you might expect. See andriasang.com, for more details.
It is probably time for SE to kill the FF franchise or put it in ice for a while. With dozen spin-offs no one knows what direction it will head, i mean come on Theatrhythm Final Fantasy... |

Why? A lot of people seem like the concept and others have stated having similar ideas for combing RPGs with music game elements. Rhythm games are pretty popular Japan at this point too. The guys behind TWENTY are also rumored to be working on this which great news. |

Saw some of the new trailers on eShop.
Well only Lugi's Mansion 2 and Kid Icarus:Uprising got me excited, never saw them vids at E3. Did see the MGS:Snake Eater one before but even then despite me being a big long time fan of the series, I never really got exicted for it. Never really played Paper Mario just a handful of times at friends house, so not really excited for that. Still looking for some decent little games on eShop, atm just picked up some Sudoku to mess around with. Not sure about that FF title, I like music themed games but with FF I just kinda expect a good old RPG romp, wasn't a fan of Heroes of Light or whatever it was called but this one does look abit better.

I've heard only good things about Shantae: Risky's Revenge, but I have yet to look into that. I kinda want Hearts Spades Euchre for Spades just for Spades, but I'd like it better if I could find people to play with. I also want Stratego since I loved that board game when I was young, but, again, I'd like someone to play with. I know a lot of people with DSi and 3DS systems, but I'm not sure if they'd play. At least both games use Download Play.

I think my username alone portrays my love for the original N64 game.
It'll be nice to see Paper Mario return to its origins after Super Paper Mario (which as a standalone game wasn't bad, but as a Paper Mario game it was disappointing).
