As commented previously, the fact that the new OP is a mad of the old OP will always strike me as a little weird, but with the full version of "Juicy Extacy" being released this week, I'll get used to the song quick enough.

That said, another fun episode. Having Airin-kun Kizaki as his homeroom teacher is making things more interesting, and Yell is so adorable when she's mesmerized by things. Even if such things are Yurika's breasts. Kakeru really knows how to steal the show.

And of course, beach episode! For your daily dose of fanservice.

I wasn't comparing the content of the two stories, good lord no. Only the structural format of 5-6 episode short stories linked together.

Akikan is just 'disposable' vaudeville humor -- like 3 Stooges humor. Mildly entertaining but the details are soon forgotten.

this anime reminds me of sekirei somewhat you know the death match competition being hosted by a big company, the canidates are a human with his/her "specialty" partner who has some kind of attack ability, the insanity of the guy whos in charge of it all,
his female assistant who seems to be the most competant person in the entire show and my favorite the jealousy that goes around from every girl trying to get the attention of one lucky/unlucky guy

oh and i didn't know even existed as a novel and manga until i saw the anime,

did i miss anything else??

so far the humor is predictable but enjoyable,Inukami is still superior .

Though saying that, it doesn't drop below episode 2's pricelessness. Oh well...
There were some frames that felt like they drew at full force too.
More importantly, why are the nameless background characters (female) better drawn than the actual characters? (-_-)

Well, a definitely improvement from the previous episode, but being as cliched as ever, had some parts that got boring enough to make me want to skip some...
But it was still fun (to the Akikan extent) for the most part. As expected, Najimi doesn't end up confessing to Kakeru, after all.
It's a shame Budoko had to appear and talk though.

-Najimi's running... Seriously, let's draw this better. That was just horrible, in various ways...

-Melon... Why the hell did you slap her? Are you trying to tell her to never relax?

-How did the two reverse positions in the water tube/slide?!...

-Yell's crazy actions in the end... So painfully stupid, it wasn't funny.

Its kinda like the dumber cousin of inukami and I am a watching it because of that more than anything else..

Yell is so annoyingly dumb I don't know where to begin...
And for the quality to not be quality when it came to the obligatory swimsuit episode, it felt as if it was a wasted episode.

But that's akikan for you so I can't ask for much more. Yurika was the obvious highlight to the episode being hot and dangerious at the same time. Gozo has good eyes for women but too bad Yurika is yuri

Najimi is hopelessly in love with Kakeru but the latter is being extremely oblivious...is it really that hard to tell when a girl has fallen for you?

Yell's nativity is great. Bodoko is still as cute as a button, especially when she screams for her owner. Melon is just melon.

Kakeru didn't have as many funny jokes this time though.

The art got!
It's even worse than last week... Close to being as bad as the 2nd episode.

Which is a good thing, as this episode suddenly became serious half-way, so there was little comedy. Which the director must have realized and told the artist of the anime to slack off and make us laugh at the visual horrors!
...The seriousness in the episode wasn't bad, but I swear that the same exact dramatic developments are just happening over and over again...... (-_-) And feels forced too...

-Does the writer have some kind of love for baseball?

-They left the stuff they bought outside while they searched?! As expected of anime, it didn't get stolen somehow.

-For a new character, there wasn't much point for the okama guy... And worse, we already have a gay character in the anime. Point for another...?

The answer to this question is "watch for yourself".

The tone's changed a little bit since the OP shift, but the show is still itself. Goofy and almost unbelievable, but I find it entertaining. Just because a show is "bad" in some sense doesn't mean that people still won't be watching it.
