WHY?! WHY did she pick stupid Kairi?! She should've picked Touji! Touji was the one that loved her all along! Touji never stopped loving her and was always there for her. Kairi was a jerkasaurus rex! Yes, Kairi was nice and was there for Momo throughout the series, and Touji was a big stupid idiot for not telling Momo "Hey, Sae wants me to break up with you 'cause she has a pic of you a stupidman!" But Kairi loved Misao and hurt Momo and NO WOMAN should ever put up with a guy who makes her feel like she's 'second best'. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Kairi...I just wished that he had drowned himself at the end!! GAH! Then Momo would be with the only man who, all along, only had eyes for her.

Don't you remember when Touji did the double-secretiloveyou sign in front of class?! MOMO-CHAN, don't you REMEMBER?! How could you pick Kairi? HELLOooOo~!

Someone please change the ending! I think I might have to destroy my copy of the end of the series. I'm not saying Peach Girl is a bad series, I liked it. However...I HATE IT!

I, however, was SO glad that she ended up with Kairi. I was not a big fan of Touji. I hated throughout the entire beginning of the show when he was always taking Sae's word over Momo's. Sure, he reforms and "waits" for Momo, but honestly, he could have just TOLD Momo about Sae's blackmail of him. Sure, there's Sae's threats and all, but at least Momo would've known. It cracks me up how much anime shows have to hype the drama up But that's what makes them so lovable, right?
Kairi, on the other hand, always saw straight through Sae and always sided with Momo. I do admit to being pretty pissed off with him around the end though when he was all torn up about Misao.
But in the end: I think Momo would have been better off by herself. No males. However, Kairi was the lesser of two evils and just plain CUTER than Touji.

Anyways, looking forward to the dvds coming out! Will have to check them out soon ^_^

many people didn't like the ending because Momo-Chan Didn't Chose Touji But Kairi ...I Didn't Like Touji be Silent about breaking up with momo-chan ..It was Really Heart breaking without any reason made me hate him

It's not an affair about what toji did or what kairi did, it was obvious during the series that the relationship between Kairi and Momo was going deeper and deeper, he was the one she love the most at the end of the series.

I'm a Touji fan. I liked Kairi until the second half of the story with his brother and his teacher crush. I don't know why shoujo manga/anime can't have a love interest that's just a nice, happy guy, they always have to make him broody (forcefully if necessary) with a dark past and stuff. Touji may be a bit stolid, but he's a nice guy and he's got no doubts at all that Momo is the one for him. Awww, you'll find a better girl soon!

Sorry, I just popped into this thread out of nowhere. I haven't even watched the anime, I just read the manga. In the manga at least HayashiTakara's spoiler never happens. Kairi fans can be happy about that.

In the first half of the anime i was a big kairi fan!!!!!
but the thing with his teacher Misao-chan made me kinda disappointed... i believed him... i thought his feelings for Momo were true.. but then they were just lies...

but i have to admit that i have just watched till episode 19... it is possible that i might like him in the end again

but somehow i haven't been a Touji-fan right from the beginnung.. i mean it was cute that he tried to protect her, although he had to give her away.. but he always judged her... he believed that bitch Sae more...

What are you guys talking about? Momo never slept with Touji, she stopped when they were about to do it! EVEN IN THE MANGA SHE NEVER SLEPT WITH HIM! She stopped because she was thinking of Kairi when he was late, I'll post the pic when I find it, even in the end when he tries to sleep with her, she runs away and goes save Kairi. I'm a Kairi fan and I don't mind if she slept with Touji but she didn't, sorry to dissapoint you Touji fans:/
