Attack wise Mami is the strongest of the bunch, one tiro finale is a guaranteed K.O. punch.

The problem is that Mami can't use the bulk of her magic due to collateral damage and her lack of killing instinct, when she snaps we get a hang of the crazy killer she can be.

Kyoko's advantage is brute strenght and versatility, she is fast and opportunistic not holding back from possible killing injuries.

I meant that after Mami's discovery (after Sayaka went witch in one of the timelines), she shot Kyoko first.

They are good together as starters, the problem is that Mami has a big sister complex while Kyoko is independent and bossy.

The moment Kyoko grows strong and confident enough she stops seeing Mami as her senior and goes after her own major spot.

One can say that there can't be two oneesamas in a relation so Kyoko goes after lil sis Sayaka while Mami bitches after new blood!

it would be if the rest of themahou shoujo had "standar" powers, considering that we are only one step away from jojo mami is not necesarily that overpowered... then again, she is supossed to be in the top three because she is really good at strategies, even beign able to defeat her anti-character.

All I can say is Kyouko/Mami is likely more to happen than KyoSaya in the movies. Just sayin'

so guys, I think I found the manga now:

its called "Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica: the different story".
it seems to be about kyouko and mami's past so its premadoka timeline... actually scratch that, its mending up with the original story... wait again, scratch that its different
just check it out.


and contrary to popular belief, mami and kyouko's "fall out" wasnt due to kyouko's desire to be independent...

Her mind? She went pretty crazy at the end of one of those timelines when she went and *censored* Kyouko .

But I like this idea for a manga, there was some hints that those 2 had a past so I would like to see what that past was.

Thanks, not much to comment on volume two, it's just a slightly different take to the anime's events, while still expanding the mami/kyouko , I guess it's nice for the people who did not get the psp game.

well partly that.

though its really as kyuubey said, her fall was due to the fact there were too many magical girls in the town, which more or less ended up with her gaining little to nothing.
because there's also the probability that if she was left alone, she might have crawled her way out of her depression/a grief seed dropping on her soul gem like kyouko's case.
