- I face palmed at the characters' uselessness and inactions in this episode. Kio is a competent pilot and very powerful X-Rounder but in this episode he seemed to lost all these for the sake of getting captured. Things got weird when Flit showed up, despite in an antic Gundam, he managed to hold off BOTH Ace MS, he could have performed well and coordinated with Kio to beat them off. But he asked Kio to escape...WHAT? And once Kio returned, everyone got major confused and thoroughly defeated....uggghh.
- The infighting between Zeheart and the fat Vagan is very interesting. Looking forward to Zeheart setting him up just like he did with his brother - Poor Asemu, your father never got so worried and crazy when you got hurt or something - Those darn kids....way to ruin a scene - WTF with the staring contest? Why everyone is going crazy? Why the hell Asemu even need permission to go after Kio? None of this makes sense!!! - While this episode goes to show more of Flit's human side, it bothers me for the fact that Flit never shows such compassion to Asemu before. Flit did make a point in chewing Asemu for abandoning his family and surprisingly Asemu had no counter for it. Please don't tell me the sole reason for his disappearance was playing pirate? - Kinda an episode which seriously nerfed the characters for the sake of plot, not that they have much characterizations anyway. Anyway, looking forward to seeing Bisidians mounting operation and hopefully Dark Hound kicking asses.

Spoiler for size:
poor kio lol sucks he got caught by Zanald, Zeheart would've given him preferential treatment, at least he wouldn't have made him strip and get into that prison uniform. That shit looks worse than concentration camp attire...

an average episode for me but im sure lots of character development lovers will like this episode since Yunoa and Flit and Asemu got their long awaited Family Drama, the red-hair girl captain is getting irritating due to her indecisiveness but she is still cute and hot though
looking forward to next weeks episode to show the Vagans drama side or what people always love "Character Development" lol |

Great capture episode except for kiddie icebreaker part.
Natora functioning as a captain and the Age-1F almost getting savioured are the battle highlights IMO. Ghirarga's staff beam rifle mode is a surprise. Zanald "blue on blue" for glory is not. Plus one for the gundams' battle damage. Finally, people are now standing up to grandpa's rage (Yunoa, Rody, and even Mrs. Madorna) and I do like the Albis defending Natora scene (and the one afterwards). As noted by Wootbit, Wendy is indeed strong (does Fram have a chance, incase?). Kio is the only Asuno to experience the vegan's hospitality after all these episodes. I wonder what will be Doreen's involvement next episode, while Asem plan the rescue operation.

Good part Flit manage to take on the 2 leaders of Vagan with his outdated AGE 1. Just to show how badass he is. Bad part even after rescuing Kio. The idiot kid got captured again and even if he is competent pilot enough. He had bad decision making which reminds me he is a kid and like the past episode where he goes chasing the traitor. He easily got beaten up and didn't even manage to help at all.
Good part the drama that's happening and all and Fram is being swayed already by Zeheart even though at first she is working for that fatarse guy. Bad part the kids when playing around...... way to go on changing the atmosphere -_- it ruin everything.

Given the fact that Kio was born after 11 long years of marriage. I seriously question about Asemu being Kio's father. How Asemu is not a X-rounder but Kio is a born X-rounder. And the way Flit care for Kio so much more than Asemu.

You know that the way heredity works, genotypes (aka the physical traits that can be inherited down offspring) can be dormant in the next generation, and then manifest in a later generation - you can inherit blond hair from your great-grandfather even if your grandfather and father were redheads. Asemu is likely to have only been unlucky enough to have been skipped by whatever genes enable X-Rounder ability.

Aside from the kids, the one thing I don't like about this episode is why the heck did Asemu need Flit's permission or support to go rescue Kio? He could always do it himself, or convince the Diva to work with him, but why Flit? It doesn't make sense. |

It seems after all these years Asemu is still a daddy pleaser, kinda disappointing actually
Zeheart actually succeed for once, but got all his glory stolen. Poor guy can't catch a break

The way the AGE creators manipulate finer plot details in order to orientate the series is somewhat - lamentable.
It's like there's a gaping hole between Flit showing his more humane and grandfatherly side by announcing his return from retirement to save Kio to Kio captured and in Vagan custody. So they had to make Kio make a detour from Diva and deprive him of his abilities just so that he would fall for the fat guy's trap and get himself captured. But I would accept this mediocricy if they are actually trade-offs meant to improve the quality and entertainment value of the AGE series. |
