What is "Eastern Europe's Baggage City?"

It began with that announcement.
Using World War 3 as an opportunity, anti-Academy City forces searched for means of resisting in various places around the world.
The purpose behind Natural Selector is to hold a tournament between two different kinds of powers to prove that a type of the supernatural exists that is superior to psychic powers.
That would destroy the core of Academy City's identity.
This strategy moves ahead with the help of Gremlin, the organization that is a fusion of magic and science.
And Academy City refuses to allow it to succeed.
A mere three Kiharas and a mere three members of Gremlin.
However, the mayhem does not end there.

Would be nice if it isn't just Gremlin vs AC. A MvsC size tournament might be a good idea.

I'm almost expecting Accelerator to be sent in and get stomped by a gimmick of Gremlin's, just to prove esper abilities isn't the be all and end all. On the other hand Touma showing up on the world stage and show everyone in the world he can go 'lolno' at supernatural abilities doesn't seem likely...

And just for crack - Kakine gets a cyborg body with human-like exterior, gets adopted as a Kihara (or just have 'Kihara as a fake name), and enters the tournament. His old body's gone anyway and he's probably legally dead, so a new name and body doesn't seem impossible.
Maybe this time he won't be killed off in the same volume he's introduced

So he becomes an Esper Cyrax?

I don't think that would work. But along those lines, a trained telepath might be able to disturb the spell casting. If I remember correctly, failing to control the thelema has potential dire consequences on the caster, even if he/she's not an esper (espers get hurt even if they do it right.)

Magicians use mana and convert it. Calling down Telesma is a specialty field only done by insane or skilled magicians.

Besides, Espers can't cause a reaction like magicians can, because their brains haven't been experimented on by AC. However, enough AIM will screw them over just as well...the question is, how to concentrate enough of it without an Scientific Angel popping up.

Calling a Battle Royale, but the one moment I would really look forward to is seeing Gensei punched in the face by Touma.

And the Freshmen haven't made that much of an impact since the first volume. Maybe we would be seeing more of them here.

WE have Nayuta (doing Judgement stuff), Gensei (hidden in a bunker?), Teresthine (prison) and Amata's son. We have 4 and there must be out a Kihara who is Nayuta's father or mother somewhere.

as cloning is known and he was part of the sisters project there's no reason he couldn't have cloned himself before hand or someone else cloned him after the event.

cloning requires a TONS of money and I don't think someone will clone him at all for his of no use and just a scientist and it's not like knowledge from the atomize original can be transferred to the clone and also clones are inferior to the original.

Also guys, remember the whole 'Kihara radicals' thing AKA Kiharas willing to experiment on their own body? Yeah, quite possible the 3 Kiharas are all cyborg-y.

Remember Nayuta? Her prosthetics have a AIM diffusion field shielding, and she resisted Mikoto's electric attacks.

Kiharas are smart enough to prepare against electricity.
