Ohiyo gozaimasu! I intend to watch this episode just because of the episode title. They promise animal cruelty. They say monkeys will be tortured. And a snake will be acquiring the stray status. Abe Simpson says that he can't wait to eat that monkey. Hellychan and Liwyn says Byakuya-sama is hot. Where did that come from? Anyway, unlike a typical anime-original episode content for Bleach, the episode titles are always interesting. So how is everyone doing?

I am hoping for some more fan service Matsumoto/Orihime style in the upcomeing episodes. Another bath scene would be nice, even beach, swimming pool, or a day at Victoria Secret's would do...

I think they're trying Zanpaktou development instead of some Ichigo bash something episode.

My guess is they're trying to make each episode a standalone for now, then go into the main filler arc (Sword Fiend).

happy about the filler?
no. very no. extending the arc beyond the death/s of the main boss/es turned the story from okay/meh to absolute crap.

however, there is definite potential for decent comedy and fanservice after the last episode.

I wished more series continued after their main villain dies.

Then again, I wish a lot more series tried not to appeal to just one crowd and have multiple genres mixed in(action, romance, comedy, etc at appropriate moments in the story)

continuing a series beyond the death of a/the main villain is one thing and perfectly fine if executed well.

continuing an individual story arc beyond the death of its main villain is a lot different.

I'm not spamming, that's just the feeling this filler of filler evokes. Can't we atleast get a high quality beach/bikini/hot springs episode or something? I liked that beach filler ep from some time ago. Ecchi Fan service rules.

well ... we got to see a lil hebi-on-karin action... maybe a little friendship being born? maybe Karin's pheromones were flying in the air? hebi-on-human love? who knows.... thats what makes it interesting lol....

My gosh, how low have we fallen that I am now somehow finding a nexus between romantic anime series and bleach... agrrr...

But thinking about it.... if they wanted to make a cool filler they could have incorporated a Clannad story line to give all the fighting a lil more depth.. u know... they should throw the fans a bone every once in a while, something to chew on ... *sigh*

LOL .. Could u picture Majuri in a Clannad-style story line? OMG! LOL

The episode had a very "dog's life" touch, if it wasn't so cliche then it would have been better.
P.S: Is Karin going to get emotionally involved with all the SS characters? That calls for an anime-original arc focused on her

Sure, he would be the misunderstood scientist who fell in love with the girl who allowed him to experiment on her all he wants (i.e. Yuzu) but couldn't save her after contracting a new viral disease.

hmm, yeah, the episode turned out to be boring.

the whole idea of detaching the snake from the monkey was bad. kyoraku and ukitake are supposed to be the only ones with double zanpakutos so them having separate zanpakuto spirits makes sense. up until now the snake and monkey were always connected with the chain so it still fit, but now they can unhook the chain? and how about if they decided to use bankai? the snake becomes the weapon when they do that.

Comedy was best part of this episode which was decent, while action was ok I guess.
Though I wonder if all the sword fiends gonna be so plain like most of them been so far, I mean seriously all this did was use his weird shaped sword as a boomerang hardly seemed at the 'bankai' level as Mayuri had said before, I am gonna guess only the one that will appear later will that level.
