That graph doesn't even reflect how many people are watching a show, much less whether they like it. It's just how often someone typed the name in an article or comment.

As they say, there are three kinds of lies...

Blogs are killing the web. I spent all day looking for something decent about sola, and all I found were a ton of blog entries with nothing at all interesting in them. Just one after another episode summary or simply stating that the OP single was just released. I can get release info from the official site or outlets like cdjapan; I don't need some teenager in Saitoma to tell me when a DVD will become available. And if I want to know what happens in a TV show -- I'll watch the friggen' show. It's just repetitive mindless drivel.

One blog (can't find the link to it now, oops) looked mildly interesting. Too bad I can't read Japanese. But he showed some photos of actual Nagasaki. I figured if I can't find pictures of Sola, I'll go look for pictures of the town.

The stone bridge is pretty famous, it's called "Meganebashi".

The church is based on Oura Catholic Church. The outside is only slightly similar, but the interior was reproduced pretty well (except for removing all the christian symbols)

Glover Gardens, named after a British merchant, is a popular place to view the city from. The beginning of episode 1 shows a bit of it.

And here's some gratuitous cloudservice for the soraphiles

Welcome to my theory regarding blog entries on anime episodes being either uninformative or spun in a negative or positive light depending on the viewers preferences. Blogs and 2chan are among the most dangerous threats to my enjoyment of anime I can find. Both are a source for disinformation, and both have the ability to gather large numbers of people together to move and shake thing so to speak.

There are a few blogs out there that only aim to trash the anime, ^^;;
Also some imageboards,(like 4chan,2chan) can really ruin the anime for you..

Those pictures are awesome. It reminds me of Noein and Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni when they used actual real life towns and cities from Japan. I remember a few Japanese websites comparing them to the real thing. The one that Higurashi is based on made me not want to visit it for very, very obvious reasons. ^^;;;

Anyway, those pictures makes me want to visit the place now and bring a camera. XD And, no, not take pictures of skies, but maybe sunsets. :P

Erm...I'm not sure if I am supposed to ask for images here...but please hear out my problem...

Recently I have made a data DVD disc(my first DVD!) Consisting The whole series of Kanon, episode 1-3 or Lucky Star and episode 1-2 of sola.

What I'd like to do is to make a cover image for the DVD box. But I don't know how to draw/edit pictures! Can anyone help me?

Nono, it's a photoshop to parody the notion that Mayuko is dressed like Suiseiseki. Hence the eye-colours.

Cheers.

Rats, I just got around to checking the original and came back to edit my post, only to have it quoted for posterity.

Not only that, but her left eye, which is the one we can see is green, is the one shown as red in the relection.
