Well, there's still that ominous Second PV which showed someone jumping off a bridge. In front of Taichi. Are they trolling us, or is there going to be DESPAIR and TRAGEDY somewhere down the line? There's alot of hints of that.

Well, PVs very rarely show scenes passed the first arc so there's a REALLY good chance that would happen either this week or the one after.

Personally, I think something of that magnitude would have some hints in the preview, so I'm betting it would be the 5th episode as that's seems to be about the right length for a first volume adaptation.

That's the most plausible explanation. Usually over-the-top previews in the end are dreams / flashbacks / visions. And I agree that could explain well Taichi's selflessness.

Anyways I hope to see Inaba smiling like that before the show ends.

If I'm to trust the pricing for some of the BDs/DVDs, this show has 17 episodes... Not sure if I should link to the official listings since that'll just spoil how many episodes each story arc has (the BDs/DVDs are not numbered and are instead named for the story arcs).

I'm guessing 4 episodes are OVAs or something?

KokoCo 04 - 伊織はおかず

Iori's philosophy is a good one, even if it seems kind of misguided. It's the same philosophy the show itself takes. When things seem to be getting too serious, keep the mood light by telling a joke, even if it's a sort of anti-humor about telling a joke. Back when Iori philosophized something fierce, I didn't see that as much of a problem, just that she was deeper than she had originally appeared. I know it makes the most dramatic sense to have the person who's the most friendly and outgoing also hide the deepest secrets, but I wouldn't mind if a person was outgoing just because they were. Though that sort of ties into what Himeko and Taichi were talking about.

In the end, Himeko's problem appears to be that she needs to take the stick out of her ass. And given the confessions at the end of the episode, I wonder what else has been going up there. There will probably be a wealth of comments about how it's "unlike" the typical characters. It's definitely unusual for it to be brought up so explicitly, but I think most anime characters have a healthy libido. I enjoyed this episode, it felt lighter and filled with more friendship than the past few weeks.

And yet, it looks to be the calm before the storm.

Well....whilst watching episode 4 of Kokoro Connect, I had to pause the video for a few moments as I took it what I had just heard come from Tachi's mouth, before laughing with amazement that he was brave enough to say that, then as I began to think of the outcome that was about to happen XD

Oh I am enjoying this show

However, next episode looks like quite the sad one

Looks like Taichi is a substitute psychiatrist for them now.
Damn, Iori sure had a lot of dads. So she has a problem of being herself.
Well, when you keep pretending you're someone else, you lose your real self.
Inaba was having trust issues about the whole body swapping thing.
This episode sure was full of everyone's issues....

Spoiler for Spoilers up to now: We know that Yui (orange hair) told Inaban that she'd almost been raped. Which led Inaban to scold the guys when they pressed her too much about why she was shaking. We know that Inaban knows that Iori is the most fragile of them all, despite her genki girl facade. What if Inaban is hearing all the girls but she herself has no outlet for her frustration? Which would lead her to passing out from the stress of everything at the end of episode 3 That could be an interesting idea.
