The spoilers from some time ago weren't kidding about the sky diving scene which is probably for the OP.

How do you top Misaka firing a Railgun? Have her fire a Railgun while free falling UPSIDE DOWN

PVs are usually cut down into a 15 second or 30 second long commercials (CMs) this one happens to advertise the start of the series on AT-X. You can even check Index's movie trailer page, where you'll find examples.

Regretfully, with the unavoidable original content, Daihasesai just won't fit. We'll have to wait for season 3 to see it I guess.

Well, during the second opening she was firing a Railgun from an horizontal position while falling. The obvious next step was doing it upside down.

I guess for the next opening she will fire it backwards while performing a full twist layout... Unless they rather leave that for another season.

I wonder if someday she will fire a double Railgun

The fact the guy at the end is only shown with is right hand, wouldn't that logically point to it just being Toma? I'd have expected either Toma or Accelerator to show in a PV, given how big both of them are to the upcoming series.

Oh, and if the series sells 20k+ units again, I imagine we'll get a season 3 in a few years. I highly doubt the production company hates making money.

It's clearly Kamijou. JC Staff know that alot of Railgun fans enjoy his cameos in the show, so it's logical that they would put him in there to hype them (us) up. Also, he plays a massive role at the end of the Sisters Arc.

The movie characters may appear in Railgun S. It's all dependent upon support of the movie (by people who can actually see it, i.e. not foreigners)

It's ok, anime is being made at max few episodes from actual episode that is being aired.
They never finish it completly before airing.
I would not be surprised if they were doing like 3rd-5th episode by now.
