Look, there really are some elements and tropes that are extremely commonplace in anime; much moreso than many other elements and tropes.

Which of the following is more common in anime?:

1) A little sister that is a "brocon".

2) A little sister that is just a little sister.


I can tell you which one would make me think "cliche" more quickly...

I don't think it all really matters so long as you like it. I mean, if you like something, you have a much higher tolerance towards it, and so forth.

#1 is more common, because nobody really wants to write #2.
