In all seriousness though - iirc didn't the director do a similar 13 ep/26 ep [attern with s1 and s2 of Aria? (Yes - I know that is reeaaallllyyyyy stretching it and all....)

So, I consider myself a heretic for not watching Tamayura much, much sooner due to being sidetracked by all the other interesting series. After my recent Aria binge though, I decided I should really get to watching the OVA and Hitotose in the past day (as one of the few people capable of enjoying a slice-of-life marathon). And now, I should say Tamayura is on top of my favorite Slice-of-Life series ever. It's HAL Film Maker + Junichi Sato though, how can they possibly fail on account of that?

So yes, looking forward to season 2 very much.

I don't see any mention of the new title, either in the ANN article or the official website.

A new character would be interesting. I doubt it'll be a rival, as the show (so far) has been too lighthearted for that and IMO, it wouldn't fit the mood established by Hitotose.

That is a callback to Chihiro and Fuu's exchanges, to be 'more aggressive' with regards to approaching situations. In context, I believe it means to be less shy and more forward, perhaps suggesting the direction the second season may take. This is purely my opinion

I'm very certain FUD's idea is the right one. It's just not the kind of subtitle one would expect from a show like this.

It doesn't sound like it's going the be the same show anymore. I may not watch this if they change the formula, I don't want a another series ruin because of a bad second season 2.

Julio, I'm sure the series will be the exact same it's always been. The title is just a throwback to the promise Fuu made with Chihiro, as Dawn explained. I doubt their promise will even reap much in the way of results/character development despite being featured in the title. It's kind of like how numerous anime series end with a "This everyday life can't last forever. I know that things will change, slowly but surely..." monologue, even though you know the characters will never age, character relationships will run around in circles indefinitely, and basically nothing will ever change.

It's going to be fine. For us English-speakers, there are negative connotations associated with "aggression", but in the context of Fuu and Chihiro's promise, it simply means "more confidence". I wouldn't be willing to pass judgement until it starts airing and moreover, I certainly hope people don't take "aggression" to mean "like DOOM or Mortal Kombat".
