With that CG as the background, a sad music as well as the credits began to flow.

Kind of sad that they are rushing the plot along so quickly. It would have been nice if they left in just how clueless and sad Tohka's existance is. While they they leave in the part that ever human she has ever seen belives she should die they cut the part that she can barely grasp the idea of 30 people in the classroom at the same time.

I wouldn't worry just yet, they haven't even started out on the date yet, so it's a bit early to say that they left something out.

While that is certainly possible, you shouldn't expect 1:1 ratio when comes to adaptations. Several novel reader have already pointed out in this thread that show is moving very fast compared to the source material. Since this is only one cour, most studios in similar situations usually attempt to cover as much ground as possible. I'm guessing we're are looking at 3 episodes each for all four girls, totally in 12 episodes.

Date A Live 01 - There's No Way My Little Sister [Redacted]

A week or two, and several days, late, but just saw the first episode. This feels so very anime. Which means I want to stick around for it. I thought having the ending be the theme song from the dating sim in universe was actually a clever move, but since episode 1 was just a lot of exposition, there's not a whole lot I can comment on just yet. Origami's battle suit did call upon some Busou Shinki vibes, and seeing the city reconfigure itself for the quake was pretty nice to look at, too. Reine looks like she's going to be a fun character - I can't remember the last time I saw someone in anime with bags under their eyes that were that pronounced.

On Twitter, this show sure have a lot of funny reactions. Although there were some complaints that made no sense. Some complained about no plot after watching the first episode. Which is really funny in a way. Another complained that "it's another stupid show just like the light novel because if you look at vol.1 of the light novel, it has those typical uninspiring pose of a character with huge boobs". If you guys look at the cover of vol 1, where are these "huge" boobs that they are talking about? Lol!

That's the thing I'm most worried about. It's expected that it's 12 episodes but it's kind of worrying when you only have around 3 episode per Spirit. Let see how well they do the execution. The thing I only know so far is the script writer for episode 1 is different than episode 2.

...Shido got three girls in one episode. Although I suspect Origami already liked him (perhaps a bit too much "I sniff your PE uniform after class." "So do I.").

Tohka achieved significant levels of adorable. It might be worth watching more to see how this date turns out, just for her alone.

I think Nico is still doing those low-quality ugly-looking early streams, which you all insist on watching and then chattering about in here without respect for those of us who are willing to wait to watch the proper episode. It just isn't time for the third one yet.
