But for now it's kinda fun abusing Noel's drive attacks but I'll be working on learning her bread and butter combos over the weekend. |

So am I the only one who has found the story mode paths to be absolutely ridiculous? Some of the win/loss, kill by drive, pick this option--they branch so many times just to get to a clear end. I've had to use charts online they're so bad in places. And don't even get started on Litchi's... you can't even clear her's until after you've beaten Arakune's...
Goods news is I only need to beat the True end now and then I'll start working on Arcade mode. Story mode has been a great way to test out each character and find who I like. So far I'm a huge fan of Noel, Rachel, and Nu. Arakune, Ragna, and Litchi are all pretty fun too so I'll work on learning them after those first three. I might play around with the others a bit, but as long as I can avoid it I'm never going to use Carl. I can't stand how he plays.

Just bought a PS3 for Blazblue, Rachel should be my main and either Noel or Ragna would be my subs.
I have to figure out how to set my cpu to VGA so I can use HDMI for the PS3 and also how to get my PS3 online first though.

Only HDMI input works for both, but I can only connect one of them to the monitor.

The HDMI is connected to the PS3 and the D-Sub to the old PC. Switching between the PS3 and PC is simply by a touch on the Source button on the side of the monitor. |

To the certain you have to double post? .
I find that if you know how to play properly, then the Noel that only knows how to spam D --> A B C etc etc is nothing but a free win match for you. I guess people who keep talking about "cheapness" are someone think it's easy to win with such "cheap" tactic =/.

let me guess, you use Noel too huh?
I've played online for a while and all ive seen are Noel Jin and V13. too bad they still suck even using the cheap tactics. EDIT: I even did a Noel Vs Noel and i didnt even use the X button and still won. oh yea, and Noel's gatling gun is crazy specialy after when she uses the Lazor beam attack

I honestly don't see how Noel is cheap, as it seems to me like people are beating Noel players perfectly fine. This so called "cheapness" of Noel is counterable. Yes her drive attacks can really pack a punch, but she can be thrown out of them. Its not like she has an infinite attack *cough* Carl *cough*. Noel does have some really nice combos that are hardly associated with button mashing.
On another note, Noel's moves remind me of the movie Equilibrium. Some seem almost identical.

Speaking of artwork, I love all the special ones that have Noel dressed up in Guily Gear character costumes.

BB's characters recieve alternative DLC colours that makes them resemble anime pop culture icons for 360 users in Japan. |
