I highly doubt it will ever be brought over here, seeing as how the only people who would probably be interested in playing it are those that have seen the series. All ten of us.

Also, I guess I'm the only one not impressed with the game OP. I was hoping for less recycled footage, and I don't really care about the animated eye catches. They were my least favorite thing about the show, and animating them doesn't make them much better.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the game never being licensed

You must be. They only reused a few shots, and the animated eyecatches were just kind of a nice extra touch. No comments on the story and 'WTF is that thing?!?' scenes?

That's a good description of the drama cd.

I suggest listening to it with an open mind, if you do. I am again amused by how this show, which takes itself so much more seriously (it's a world of difference, seriously) follows the HiME model in its marketing strategy.

I've added Morinaga Rika (Mamiina) to the hashihime seiyuu gallery: photo, major roles, info, notes, and links to sites.

She sounds like an interesting person, with a "subculture" background, including performances in underground clubs. She has a rock group called "function code()." I have enjoyed the blog at her home page. She tends to use masculine pronouns like boku and oira.

On her home page there is a link to a design house in Tokyo called Senseless Face. The designers are two sisters. The "gallery" link on their site shows their fall 2006 collection. They say they specialize in pink, ribbons, and kawaii. But that doesn't mean exactly what you might think. Suited to a tiny (149cm=<4'11") belle laide with subculture sympathies and a pop culture job, like Rika.

Sure, it's the Negima!? Haru OVA (the raw I have is called 'Negima Spring OVA.avi'), 24.58s long. Chachamaru begins her descent at 03.56.

It's the engine sound, a sort of pistony whistle. Pretty distinctive sound, best heard during the battles as I recall.

Actually they use it twice, first at the very start of the episode when it zooms in on Japan from space. But the Chachamaru bit is much clearer and recognisable.
