wanted : Evil anime

getting kinda bored and i think im too happy (too much is bad for me ...therefore im requesting some anime that would make me go into a state of depression...
im not fussy any gerne would be fine such as action, love or watever...stuff like KGNE and elfen lied would do nicely...
also plot holed and twists in the plot such as you think the anime is swinging in one direction but changes drastically (main chara dying?) is fully welcomed...
gimme all your tear jerkers that accompeny the disaster and it would be perfect kinda like being hit on the head with a sledge hammer...

thx in advance...

Well there's the old standard of Saikano. Guaranteed to bring you down.

I'd also recommend Haibane Renmei. Don't let the premise of the show fool you. While it starts of somewhat light and fluffy, around episode 6 it changes somewhat drastically and becomes quite bleak and downbeat. The show deals with some particularly depressing themes such as loss, abandonment, and suicide. The visuals and music are beautiful and the plot has an air of mysteriousness about it, keeping the show compelling throughout. It is a must watch.

Oh yeah, second Saikano. I'm never watching that again
Grave of the Fireflies, if you can find it.
AIR TV is considered by many to be extra sad.
Irya no Sora UFO no Natsu is pretty sad, if you ask me.

Eh... Well, yes I don't usually watch depressing stuff.

Does Neon Genesis Evangelion Count? I mean , it is gory , weird and depressing all at the same time ! The story and characters are so complicated , you probably won't have a clue on what had been going on after seeing the final episode. And you might even think "it's just another mecha anime" at the very beginning of the series (which NGE is obviously not)

If you're up for a manga, absolutely check out Gantz. Not only is it hands-down awesome, but it's also filled with blood and gore and people dying and sooo many plot twists. It'll not only make you depressed on numerous occasions, but make you question whether you yourself, morally, perhaps aren't evil for enjoying it. Basically, you can't lose. You'll love it, while cringing in disgust at the same time. It's really, really great.

There is an anime but it's not nearly as good.

I second Haibane Renmei, episode one is especially gory. (The wing spouting.)

Serial Experiments : Lain is pretty downbeat. Girl commits suicide on the first episode.

Air's can be truely upsetting depending on how emotional attached you get to the characters, its one of the must see Anime's imo.

Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu has one of the best romantic feels to it i've seen, so just from that you can tell its gonna be pretty upsetting, another must watch.

And if you haven't already seen Tsukihime, then you fail.

narutaru seems really evil in disguise, though I haven't seen it yet.

Berserk gets more depressing as the series goes on. The ending is really depressing and evil.

Do you want anime with lots of malice?
Higurashi has that and is probably my favourite this season
Narutaru also
Elfen lied certainly does have lots of malice, I wished they would have focused less on nakedness and gore.
Berserk is pretty evil, rewatch the first ep after the last ep is finished.
Monster manages to do well despite being so long and is recommended.
Now and then, Here and There is a bit malicious, with quite a bit of characters that are probably decent people but do evil things because they have to in order to survive.
Haibane Renmei is not malicious, more sad and melanchony but not hopeless, to me it was more about sin and forgivness. One of my favs
AIR TV is also not malicious but sad, also a great anime besides some few moments that are just too cheesy and sentimental.

The cure for all this should be something happy cute and slow like Aria the animation

I definitely third Shingetsutan Tsukihime. I think it's among the most underrated anime shows of the score, but that's me. It's as beautifully tragic as it's going to get: IMHO, Elfen Lied had its share of melodrama, but ST is just so fucking painful because it lacks that melodrama that one can really feel the realism of the emotions being conveyed that it seeps through one's skin and leaves a terribly uncomfortable feeling. That may be evil anime for you.

Oh, and if you're still feeling discontented afterwards, watch Cowboy Bebop. Then, if you don't want to tear yourself from nasty anime to watch happy anime like AMG or DearS, I don't know what to say. You're either an alien or a monster.
