Maybe they're waiting for the last volume of the novel to come out to release the third season. The anime makers need to know the end of the story.

That is defiantly the case, the volumes were sorta delayed, so the anime could not go any further resulting in fillers.

The other "uninvolved persons" are Harumi Fujita and Kimiko Nakamura; their homeroom teacher appears to be Satoru Oomine. Any others?

Well I can't remember anyone else from that, since they barely involved anyone in the human part of the anime, if they were included it would be centered between the triangle, or the parents.

In an episode, the homeroom teacher or something was calling the role. Naming many people. You might want to look at those random people as well. ^_^

I guess you could count the teachers that Shana PWNED as well. The Chem guy, the English Literature guy the German guy etc.

I dunno. They only have very small roles, and Oomine-sensei is noted up to Season 2, so I think only he gets the honor of having an article of his own.

When I think about it, SnS seems small Character wise in comparison to other animes/ Mangas/ etc. I mean, I know you get all the flame haze and Guze no Tomogara, but to me, it seems small.

That's probably because two characters tend to share one body so it seems small.

Actually, from the list here, there are 112 characters. This is considering that I haven't added articles for the Crimson Lords who are featured in the Light Novels.

Toaru Majutsu no Index has 133, with most forms of media put into consideration.

But, a lot of the characters are VERY minor. You don't get to know them very well. Like, You get to know Yuji, Shana and co. Then Bal Masque crew. But that is pretty much it.

BTW, What happened to Margery Daw? She seems to have gone somewhere? I can't read the novels, so can someone tell me what happened to her or the last time we hear about her?
