It's hard to make a complete judgement based on a couple of screens that we see without context.

For all we know, Yui learns the truth 3/4th into game (which is longer than TE storyline we had so far). Given that she's talking to Heinemann, it would at least indicate that she learns that while she's in Yukon. And all of this is based upon (a subjective) assumption that they would, as Goose said, "carry on". The same with Cryska. All we know that there's a gravestone of her. Do we see it at the very end, or is it a part of a scene that occurs simply at some part? Again, Latorova supposedly got chainsaw to the head, but she's up and running.

As for what Gav said, yeah. incestuous relationships don't immediately result in lolgenetics screw-up, because that's not how it works. It simply makes kids more likely to inherit any recessive genes. So, if purple eyes are recessive trait in her family, Yuuya's and Yui's kids would be more likely to have purple eyes etc. etc. Hapsburgs and Pharaohs had problems because they historically practiced forms of incest continually for decades or even centuries.

So far, I've heard about Cui biting it, but I don't have concrete proof. No news on other Argos guys.

Yes, probably Yui learned the truth from Heinemann when she was still at Yukon, shocking with the truth that Yuuya is her older brother, Yui picks up her documents and goes towards the hangar (or someplace). Walking like a zombie towards her destination, she gets shot and... that's where I hanged off...

Bottom line; are we or are we not talking about the end of the game, i.e. the end of the Total Eclipse story? Because that's exactly what I thought we were doing. >.>

If we're not talking about solid information about the end of the game, that changes a lot.

This thread (as well as the Novel one), has been debating so far what we do know from the VN, and what it implies. I don't think anyone but adept moonrune readers in Japan actually know how it ends at this point.

I wouldn't actually set anything in stone until I get a solid transcript of the actual ending scene and epilogue.
Inb4 Heinemann being actually Yuuko agent and trolling everyone.

People were putting Cryska's death in spoilers and talking about that being the ending, so that's where the misunderstanding is coming from.

Perhaps the "Miracle" skill of Human race has a really low activation rate, so Yuuko (who might be author avatar of Kouki), is consciously propagating despair to make it go off and lead to a success of Ouka/Human survival.

Or maybe Yuzuka's just that shy.

That's what i felt was missing, i completely forgotten about Silvio, i just remember near the end of Resurrection, Yuuko was the one who informed Silvio of the situation in Yukon base. If i'm not mistaken i think it was hinted that Yuuko knew about the situation on Alaska for quite some time. And then there's Sakon.

Fresh from /m/ Spoiler for TE VN: Yui lived because her stopwatch, given by her father, absorbed part of the impact. It's made out of the alloy material that Type 74 broardsword. While Yui is out, Cryska and Yuuya developed their relationship. After Yui came back, as she is going thru the watch's history [boeing rep know her uncle and father, and that they were siblings...], she learnt that Yuuya's her brother. And that her dad ran to US (and abandoned his royal position) to be with the woman he loved. He only came back to Japan because Japan was in a crisis. [Soviets roll out the SU-47 now, Boeing offers to use Yf-23 tech to match the power for the XFJ project. New XFJ machines are copies of YF-23 with head fins and new paint jobs. USA sends forces to arrest the Agros team, leaving Yuuya and Lowe alone since they are American.] Cryska was starting to lose her Alt3 power. Sandek decided that she is no longer useful and decided to dispose of her. Yuuya learnt that thru Inia, and with the agreement of CIA that he will bring Cryska to US, he busted into the Soviet base and rescued her. During the prison break, Sandek tells him that all Alt3 needs to immese themselves in ABS LCL every day to live. If Yuuya takes Cryska away, Cryska only has 5-10 days to live. Cryska first refuses to go for nationalistic reason, then she refuses to go because Yuuya will be in deep trouble because of her, finally she refuses to go because she knows she is dead either way. Yuuya embraced her in a very heroic way, and convinced her. Yuuya and Cryska stole the Shiraui 2nd and flew into Soviet's Alaska. They first fought the rest of Algo squad, then a squad of Alt3 Su-47, then a red su-47 with Inia and another Alt3 in it. After they rescued Inia and Cryska killed the other Alt3, Yui arrived. Yui refuses to fight Yuuya and let them go. Cryska died in the wilderness with Inia and Yuuya beside her. You know 'I am glad I fell in love with you' sort of speech. Since Cryska is dead, Yuuya failed his agreement with the CIA. Also he doesn't want to hand Inia to the CIA. So he defected to Japan. They went to Russia, Yuuya and Inia find a stone, engraved Cryska's name on it, and made it her tombstone. Russia mother appeared and apparently, Cryska/Inia didn't kill them all. Half of the division survived and other Soviet general took them in. The time then shifted to Operation Sakura. There's a Su-47 all Alt3 land-assault division that was doing alright until a laser fort class apeared. When it (and the oribial drop troops that are landing) was getting annilated, 5 squads of orbitial drop troops arrived. Mother Russia and Yuuya (under her command)'s division arrived. The rest of the division one by one detonated their S11 to open a path When it was Mother Russia's turn she told Yuuya that he is like a son to her. When she was about to blown herself up, Cryska's ghost appeared. [She still dies I think.] Each Su-47 and Yuuya's Shuranui get surrounded with Cryska's blue flame, and she whisped that she will protects all those that Yuuya treasures. Then there's the flashback with all the TE characters. After the flashback ended, Yuuya charged towards the fort laser class, the game ends, and the credit started rolling (yes I know.) added some more data __________________ When in deadly danger, when beset by doubt.
