And hey by looks of it we have thigh-high boots or socks(altho socks don't say pirate but hell I'd be content with them) as well and that just adds to the win!

Alas according to the third volume's title she's only an apprentice space pirate, and she's cosplaying too -- "コスプレ見習海賊" (although that might not make much difference to you). The fourth volume's title is "漆黒の難破船" which translates as "jet black shipwreck" but Google Translate suggests the more lyrical "Raven Wreck".

Wha? No more Miniskirts?!? That's not what I want to see! I want to see girls strutting around in their miniskirts, not girls working in the Wagnaria restaurant! /joke

Ahem, regardless.... someone please tell me there's a twintail or a ponytail in this series, that way I can pre-claim her sleep well at night come air time

None? Guess I'll have the glasses girl then, with that much hair I'm sure I can tie it up into the perfect twintail hehehehe....

Relax, big guy! Nobody's gonna take your miniskirts away. My theory is:

Moretsu (モーレツ) is a funny word. It originally meant hardworking, workaholic. Back in the 50s, this was a highly admired trait in Japan. Through use as a catchphrase for a very successful advertising campaign, it acquired the meaning of this admiration itself, like "Wow, hardworking!".

So in this context, I think the new title means more like "Wow, Space Pirates". They retain their miniskirts.

Aha, I see. That makes sense considering the little summary posted a page or two back, where one would think like "oh, that girl is a space pirate?" or something.

BTW, when will Miniskirts pirates be airing?
I expecting this show to be like Pirates of the Caribbean, in Space, with miniskirts.

What? Seriously? I know I'm out of the loop these days, but no female pirates wearing miniskirts in the Summer is a crushing blow to my perverted desires heart! Summer is all about baring skin, ah how I lament those lost days of solace....
