So basically, there is a high likelihood that whatever the final design becomes, it's Logan imo.

WitchBlade has been passed to many generations, the anime still sticks to the original roots. This Wolverine doesn't which many fans are disappointed.

One thing you can't take off though is that animation is awesome.

But another forum mentioned in passing that Wolverine has Japanese origins also. Perhaps, they are tapping into that.

Wolverine's Japanese origins comes from one of his story arcs, when he had gone to Japan to train and became a very skilled martial artist, one reason why his fighting ability is at max in his character stats. Yes I know like Batman Bruce Wayne trained in Japan and became a great martial artist. Go figure who's ripping off who... =/


He's comic origin in 2002 states that he was born on Canada and is named as James Howlett, which in his early stages as character states his AKA as the "Canadian Wolf" when he first appeared on the Hulk comic or was it another Wolverine comic? I can't remember!

Daken's Wolverine's son looks more SIMILAR btw to the design of the anime Wolverine, though Daken has Mohawk style of hair, which in the Wolverine anime hybrids the design of the father and son and also note he's bisexual...

Oh goodness...If that's Daken since he's called "THE DARK WOLVERINE" in comics, possible that's his design only made similar to the original face of Wolverine. Slick think hands... O_o

Possible since Daken has Japanese blood and pretty boys as we know are the ones that make the scene now adays. Possible Logan's design there is intended to be a hybrid of Daken and Logan's.

Also a side note and info for Wolverine's daughter.

If the movie is all about Daken then I think it does make sense with that bisexual look. But wait, don't tell me I'm gonna watch the protagonist will kiss another...guy though he will kill him after that?

But if it's about Logan then I don't think his new design is really a good choice (even if he's a hybrid of Logan and his son)

Looking at Wild Thing she gender swap her, she'll be the Wolverine we see in the anime. But her claws are different though.

I hope it's Logan, if it's not then that's just another mutant.
