Just wondering why Taku being Cyan Pile was predictable (I like to call him Cile)? Did I miss something in the previous episodes?
Usually the first opponent in the grand scheme of the story would be some sneaky troll (cile) and the real bosses would be the kings!

Whoa... did not expect her to get hurt like that. I was hoping it was all a joke but damn. Haru is definitely manning up too, that's good to see. And his dream was awesome, lol.
One thing that didn't make sense (forgive me if it was answer but I can't read several pages of posts to find out) is that Black Snow said she was jealous yesterday but the flashbacks were all from the same day. Did they goof with that? Episode loses points for the spoiler preview.

That, and any understanding of computers and their hints at Cabling opens up access to the other person's information, and Taku was going to be the one that had a backdoor program installed on Chiyu. So, obviously, he'd be our next fight. |

Investigation
The more Kuroyukihime goes in deeper to explain to Haruyuki the mechanics of how the Burst Link and the Accel World operate, then the more I'm liking this show.
Proportionally, the more I watch Haruyuki interacting personally with Chiyuri the more I'm heartwarming for this show. Accel World may hold the potential to establish itself on a same fandom level, as Serial Experiments Lain did in its era, and time will tell. Ok. We got ourselves the reasons why Kuroyukihime veers off from the global network, and why she must constantly logged in into Umesato's Middle School Network. The skirmish against the pure color kings seems interesting, since basically the Neuro Linker can get uninstalled if the lose a single match at level 9 specs, and those kings are at most 15-years-old in age and do not want to lose their Burst Acceleration privileges. Spoiler:
We still do not know if Kuroyukihime is 100% reliable and not hiding unnecessary facts from Haru given that both met just a few days ago, while Chiyu and Haru had been childhood friends for many years. |

Nice boat? Please don't tell me they censored the car crash scene because of some stupid 'incident' again.. :/
There's more censors on that car than those found covering your typical shower fanservice scenes. |

Finally caught up on Episode 4 of this - Looks like I missed all the fun over these past few pages because of not getting to it sooner, though, lol.
Anyway, I'm with the critics/"haters" on some things, and with the supporters on others. Much of this episode honestly took me by surprise, for the simple reason that I didn't think they'd pull off such decisive dramatic events this early on. Maybe this approach is cliche in shounen anime, but compared to most anime that I've watch recently, seeing a major romantic confession this early on is actually pretty refreshing to me. Also, I felt that the hints that Kuro had romantic feelings for Haru were clear enough (both in this episode and in previous ones), and the explicit reasoning she gave works for me. Sure he's not all that physically attractive, but people fall in love for all sorts of reasons. Loving a guy since he's great at something that you're very interested in makes perfect sense to me. That being said, the whole situation surrounding Kuro's confession to Haru felt very cheesy and lolzy, meaning that it had for me an element of unintentional comedy that made it less impacting in a non-comedic way. Kissing his pig avatar before getting creamed by a car in order to save his life - Yeah, this is the sort of thing that anime abridged series make endless fun of. Still, I'm willing to more or less roll with it. It doesn't upset me much. But what did make me facepalm was Taku being the secret antagonist. *Sigh* Looks like Haak was right. In order to build-up Haru, the rest of the main protagonist cast is going to be tore down a bit and/or be in love with him. But oh well, I'll see how it goes from here. I have significant worries about what'll become of this show going forward, but this show still has a lot of potential if it plays its cards right, imo. Kuro was a big part of why I liked this show in the first three episodes, so I really hope that she won't be sidelined for a very lengthy stretch. And I hope they keep Taku's douchebaggery down to a minimum, and don't make him a complete scumbag. Haru's Ok. He's a decent male lead. He's a touch whinier than what I'd like, but his heart is in the right place, and at least he's a very proactive protagonist. However, I have my doubts that he can carry this show, which goes back to my hope that Kuro isn't sidelined for long.

But yeah, in the end he really just needs his friend to set him straight. If anything was shown in the third episode it's how far these friends really have gotten. Things might not have come to this if they'd been more open with each other about their own troubles.

If I understand this correctly, Taku does not even know that Haru is Silver Crow. If Haru does not say anything, they could fight without reservations. However, if Haru reveals himself and Taku continues to plow down his friend, then Taku is truly a scumbag. I'm going to have to wait and see how they handle this situation before I can give further judgement.

I was also very impressed with the confession its very rare we actually get a confession so early on in series nowadays and with the girl taking the lead to do so. Too bad it happen right before she smacked by a car but imo it made it that more powerful. cant wait to see how this plays out

ah, now this is how you make a good "wimpy" protagonist.
when the protag is someone who's got low self-esteem due to his situation and as a result is an anti-social loner, he'll be really good at analyzing the situation even if he's scared and has no "idea" on what's happening. this is what made me dislike shoe early on as a character since a person who's like that tends to be "smarter" in a sense(at least at "certain" points that happen). anyway, il cut that rant out. pretty intense episode. though he was pretty harsh to the girl, his words really do make sense considering his situation and mindset(hardly anyone would really think that someone who's at the top likes them, whether your good looking or not yourself. especially if you just knew each other for a few days). and he at least is making up for it already. gotta like his deductive and intellectual skills. |

I guess I can forced myself to accept Haru X Kuro pairing.
When I am in doubt, I can always telling myself that Kuro loves Haru not because of his looks or society status, but because he is smart, intelligence, great gaming skills, and possessed a great asset on the bed. That should do it. |
