In the recent episodes, Aizen has been explaining his masterplan. He explains that once a Shinigami has mastered all four skill areas of a Shinigami, there is no way you can become any more powerful without fusing your soul with a Hollow.

Can we assume that Aizen has mastered all areas?

If he can stop attacks with his bare hands and beat captains like a bully for ur lunch money then yeah, its pretty much a possiblity i think...but then again i have been wrong before......

yes he reveals himself, but he doesn't say what he's up to or who he is or why he's doing it..... He only talks about his soul slayers power, ya know, the 'complete you-know-what'....

Hmmm...well, then I'm assuming you mean when he is on the execution grounds with Rukia, Renji, and Ichigo? Where he explains his plan, the device, genkai, etc. etc.?

Hmmm..I started listening to some podcasts on Itunes. But they weren't too good. And out of the few that I listened to, almost none mentioned Bleach. Anybody know one that centers around Bleach? Like weekly discussions about episodes, chapters, etc. ?

The Arrancar don't really have "levels" in a manner of speaking...it's more like a numbering or ranking system. The Arrancar that are numbered 11 and up are done so by their "birth"...basically, by order in which they were created. Apparently the top 10 numbers were reserved for those with the most destructive power and (for Grimmjow at least) are numbered personally by Aizen. So far the only Arrancar we know to be an Espada for sure is Grimmjow, and he's #6. The Espadas also give orders to the 11+ Arrancars.

A Vizard/Visored is basically a Shinigami who has gained Hollow powers. An Arrancar is a Hollow who has gained Shinigami powers. Visoreds also possess intact Hollow masks that they can seemingly hide, while Arrancars often have broken masks still covering parts of their faces. The Arrancars also have a unique way of releasing their Zanpakutou as well (we've yet to see how Visoreds release their Zanpakutous).

You don't simply became an Arrancar just by removing your mask (as demonstrated by Orohime's brother early on in the series), the Hollow itself actually has to obtain Shinigami powers somehow before it becomes a true Arrancar. As for the Hougyoku, it's a device created by Urahara that erases the line that separates Hollows and Shinigami: it can turn Hollows into Shinigamis and vice-versa.

As for the Visored, we've only been introduced to two of them so far: Hirako and Hiyori. As Arti mentioned the only action we've seen them take so far is attempting to recruit Ichigo to their side, but at this point it would seem like they would not be on the side of the Hollow/Arrancars, or on the side of the Shinigami. They're probably just looking out for their best interest. So...I guess it all depends on your definition of "bad guy". If the Shinigami representing Soul Society are the good guys...well, they may end up fighting the Visored at some point, so it that sense that can be labelled as bad guys. However, I'd just refer to them as a third faction...somewhat neutral. That's just my opinion though.

if ichigo or renji or komamura cant slice aizen because of his spirit force, then what makes soi fong think she can cut his throat? or the other two vice captains holding tousen and ichimaru at swordpoint?

i dont think that komamura couldnt cut him, i think that Aizen dodged the hell out of his attack...

It's true that Soi Fong might not have been able to cut Aizen because Renji, Ichigo and Komamura couldn't...but you have to take into consideration the fact that Soi Fong wasn't there when Aizen fought those three. Therefore, she had no idea that he's been blocking their attacks with his bare hands, so in her mind she probably believes that she would have no problems slitting his throat. My thoughts on the subject, that's all.

As for the Vice-Captains...I think they were just restraining them, though I also found it odd that V-Cs were restraining Gin and Tousen instead of Captains...but then again I suppose they thought that even if they [Gin & Tousen] could break free...they couldn't really run anywhere since they were surrounded by Captains and whatnot.

Her Soul Cutter only needs to touch her target, not hurt them. Still, if her opponent has such a strong reiatsu that it can completely negate her ability to touch them, that might stop her power from working. There are not examples of such a thing so it would just be speculation.

DrunkenRyder Segundo Arrancar Join Date: Dec 2005	Spoiler I can't even say it, just look and help please Please Don't Look if you haven't read the Manga Spoiler for manga: Can someone please fill me in on the Arrancar Levels (by levels I mean Espada, etc), and the difference of a Vizard and an Arrancar. They say arrancar's are hollows that have taken off thier mask's, but what about the hyouku thing? And are the Vizards bad guys? The numbers higher than 10 are weaker, who we have seen getting dispatched. A vizard is a shinigami to hollow hybrid. An arrancar is a hollow to shinigami hybrid. The "hyouku thing" is a device that can make hybrids by changing shinigamis and hollows back and forth. Vizards are neither good nor bad as of right now. We don't know their intentions yet, except that they want Ichigo.
