Mentar@Keep dreaming.I understand that people can think like this before that these last ch come out. But i think Tatsumi made the point pretty clear. But ...sure let's just see what we want and ignore what he says /think .

No really you guys do realize that she had so many Death flag that i will suprise if she survive until the half of the story ?Also you guys realize that the moment she see that Tatsumi have incursio is the moment she will probally want him die?Also there is even the chance that she die this ch or the next one.The last time that someone was with Tatsumi is die (aniki). Would not suprise me if Esdes end the same way.

About Kurome depends how much she know about the empire and his corruption...but she will probaly die as well.
Also I always thought is a bad habit say that the author love/like a character if he don't say so.

I haven't read past c19 yet ... but I know Takahiro very well, and I'm sure that he _loves_ Gestapo-chan. My prediction: Should she ever die, it would be as part of the end run, and rather enabling Tatsumi to fulfill his dream. If she ever meets her end, she won't be a villain anymore. But in the meantime, I'll be looking forward to alot of "taming of the Shrew". And I give her fair chances to live through it all.

I was read second story that was after when read chapter 26,There was something a miss.Well there was show how Akame,Tatsumi and onther take to kill some bastards...well totaly different from where it end where Tatsumi and Esdes are in island.

It was a side story of a previous mission, hence why it wans't a proper chapter.

Why he even need to futil her love dream?If he don't feel the same...make no sense to meThe only thing I can see him give her is a enemy of her lv. Like she say in one ch.
I mean for him to fall for her and become part of her group would be go again his own character that we see until now.Really that would make zero sense.( at least from my POV).

With Gestapo-chan I mean Esdese ... actually it was Key board who used this term first in a chat with me, and I considered this nickname very very fitting. Her introduction and her usual uniform reminds me very much of Gestapo (GEheime STAats POlizei - Secret Police from Nazi Germany).

Esdese only has death flag against her imo.

I don't mind she slaughtered all defeated soldiers in the north when she conquered the area since I think it's normal.

She froze over 400k civilians over there were a bit off though.

I can't stand her crushing others' pride and torture people instead of giving them mercy kill.

I say that Gestapo-chan will be developed to a romantic candidate for Tatsumi, and if she does die, it will

1) be the beginning of the end of this story
2) be in a way that she helps Tatsumi realize his dream - she'll "come around" in the end, Darth Vader-style

I win bonus points if she survives till the end and becomes Tatsumi's romantic match.

Esdese definitely going to have a affect/changes on Tatsumi (as he will on her) how much is up in the air at this moment.

IIRC, she never actually slaughtered all of them. Lufell mistranslated that and later corrected it (she gave her "bonus" to her men who were left guarding it.)

And we don't know how many of those 400k were civilians (and she didn't freeze them, her army buried them.)

Almost assured. Heck, even in the very first chapter, he was already tempted by her, and he even thought about trying to win her over. For his goals, yes. The rest WILL come in the future

The story made it clear that she will not be lumped together with the fatass Prime Minister, even if she is working for him. She is on her own side before she is on anyone else's.

If killing a large number of people is her sin, then many of the Night Raid are guilty of the same. Najenda was a former general, and there is no telling how much experience Akame has.
If the problem is that she enjoys making her enemies suffer, then so do members of the Night Raid. Leone explicity stated that she enjoyed the killing business and when she gets to the Prime Minister, she will kill him in a way that makes what he did seem pale in comparison.

Neither side is truly "good". Najenda should have made that clear before Tatsumi formally joined, and if not, Wave being similar in personality to Tatsumi but on opposite sides should have driven the point home.

I keep getting this feeling that people think the Night Raid is somehow morally better than their enemies when they are not. Deserve death? Well yeah, in a normal society, all of them would deserve it for premeditated murder.

Well Esdes isn't the only character they develop to make them look more human than their first appearance... minus those that died and fatso...
It is indeed true that neither side is actually good...
Murder is still murder and justification is only an excuse to lessen the gravity of the act...
If they deserve death, well for us they must survive (minus fatso and pet girl) since death is the easiest escape they could get for the sins they committed especially to some/all of its character...

Just because you like Esdes you want this but Tatsumi don't like her that way and I'm pretty sure(for how the thing are now ,at least) he will never do.Also from what I remember he don't see her in the very first ch ...at leat you don't mean the first ch he see her.Also be tempted is normal ...come on even I can agree she is beautiful I think most man would say this. Also i don't think he mean win her over like that(becuase he don't love her) but if he can bring some one strong as her to his side why no? Honestly he pair up with her would be the worse thing for him in more way that one. I really don't know why people can't see this
Like some one already say (and i say this as well) if he ever fall (mutual) for some one will be Akame. He show some kind of reaction/face that he don't show with any one else.Also when we see Akame more beautiful is from his(Tatsumi) POV. I think this speak volume

I think NR was pretty clear with Tatsumi that murder is alwaysmurder no matter the reason. And yeah Leona say that herslef.But there is some difference from what NR do and what the empire do. If I have to choice I choice NR without second thought.

He's well aware of it due all sort of stories surrounding her though. So, I don't think it matters as much here.
