He's still a guy.
I dont see any indication to assume that Madoka's love interest is not male.

^ There is no direct indication that says her love interest is male, either.

There isn't even a direct indication that a love interest exists.

Madoka said she want cool husband like her mom. So, it is possible to have a yuri element in this series.

Higher resolution. Don't know if it's already posted or not.

According to Megami interview with Shinbo, Madoka Magica is 12 episodes. (via 2ch)

Nah, she said she want a cool husband like her mom did. It was a mistake on my part for misleading translation, sorry. Where did you get that large ClariS image, by the way?

But her dad is a house wife type. I want a yuri type ........ I hate the idea of a yuuno like character butting in the cast.

I got that pic from Thai forum (pantip).

Edit: The source is from http://www.clarismusic.jp/bio/

ehhhhhhhh... so it's either simple 1-cour ending, or split 2-cour. Knowing how much they are widening the story with side-story manga, I wonder if they are really going to end this with one season. Honestly, going split-2 cour is not a good idea; if the first season fails, the next season becomes much much worse in terms of sales. On the other hand, Shaft is already going double management this Spring season with Denpa Onna and Maria+Holic, thus they will be able to improve some quality.

Producer Iwakami and MBS never do a split 2-cour. The only Aniplex show so far under split 2-cour is Mitsudomoe, which is producer Toba's. I think it's safe to assume Madoka will be a 1-cour ending.

Personally I hate split 2-cour because that means DVD/BD release will be 2 episode each for 12 volumes for full 26 episodes, which sucks compared to the normal 3 ep × 8 vol for traditional 2-cour shows.

I also think split-2 cour is very dumb. (lol mitsudomoe) Since Shaft has done few split-2-cour projects before, I was wondering. (I think Natsu no Arashi was one, and Arakawa Under the Bridge was definitely another.)

If it will actually have a complete ending this season, I'm sure it won't be happy one. All Urobuchi style ending is either bitter-sweet or complete misery with dripping rotten blood.

I would love to see Madoka fulfilling her dream of travelling around the world as an ending, in a bitter-sweet way.

…got few disciple along the way and become combat instructor at age 19…

Angel Beats did something similar, why not?

Also, most of Urobuchi's stuff that I've seen is relatively short; You could adapt Kikokugai into a two-hour film, for instance.

Short is sometimes better. Less filler.

I wouldn't consider a housewife a NEET.
I typically wouldn't, either, but the wording of the term is applicable. Apparently her father is doing the cooking and most of the housework, so there you go.

But Yuuno is already in the series as a girl character , which can only mean one thing... .

Err, how come? If she thinks that her father is cool, wouldn't you normally assume that she'd like to have someone like that as her love interest?

There's a general acceptance that people who called NEET are useless. They can't usually even take care of themselves. But this guy takes care of not only his child but the whole family. It would be a bit unfair to call him as such.

He's a housedad. That's his occupation. And I didn't know people call housewives NEET these days
As for the romance, I prefer a tuxedo mask love interest just for the nostalgia.

The girl is 14 yo. She won't be travelling around the world at that age.

And it's very liberating of him to stay home to take care of the family so that his wife can further her career. I agree with Madoka that her dad is cool. More husbands should be supportive of their wives like him.

Looks like an interesting show, love magical girls. A perhaps violent twist on the genre would spice things up too.
