I love the use of the color in this picture. It flows real well.

I love the fact that the moon's presence is shown well and also the detail on the ears and tail with the fur and hair blending in nicely. It just looks great and it seems like the artist enjoyed the ending song cause he put the huge apple from the ending sequence in there. The tree also reminds me of the ancient's place in ffVII.

I'm pretty sure that apple is a horse. And the LAST thing we need is a FFVII Spice and Wolf crossover. Although Horo and RedXIII would be an interesting pair. I wonder i- no, bad Mage!

I thought it was the horse first aswell but the stem that looks like a tail stops short and i think the horse would be pulling the cart behind the viewer, that is in front of Horo.
Wow i didn't even think about red XIII, and i shouldn't... argh now look what you've done Mage! haha
Anyway i'll say it again that is a great picture of Horo. Great.

It's not quite live-action, but if there were some kind of live action adaption or a cgi adaption even, this is how Horo would look. It's mainly the detail put into the hair. Although I have 1280x1024 and 1280x800 version of a right picture, I do not have 1024x768 version.
So, I resized 1280x1024 version to 1024x768 version.
