Maybe when The-Triad keeps their promise and releases Kaiji Two, they'll get added to the list, yes?
Edit: Okay, they released, now they must be added on the list. Last edited by Kokujin-kun; 2011-04-14 at 22:53. Reason: long awaited revival |

We managed the first 2 seasons and 20 more episodes of Yes!, so that was about 115 eps.

I was going to say Anime-Keep, but it looks like they haven't released anything in over a year. That's a shame - I remember when they and ANBU were the premiere fansubbing groups. If either of them picked up a project, you got their version because it was generally the best.
Having contributed 2-3 years to the fansubbing scene during college, I have a lot of respect for those fansubbers who keep doing what they're doing. I ultimately burned out of the scene, and honestly can't imagine going back into it at this point in my life. It was a lot of fun, but in many ways it was a lot of work (and time) taken to putting out something to a lot of ungrateful people. (The few adoring fans generally made up for it XD ) So kudos to the old fansubbers who have been doing it for years, and I give a virtual nod of respect to the newer subbers who keep the fansub scene going.

We also helped out with Curecom with around 20 or so episodes of Fresh Precure, so we've done around 100 Pretty Cure episodes.

I was part of a VHS fan-sub group way back when. 1994 I think I started. Only did a few originals though.
Is Central Anime still around? There was also Anime Central. One was in the mid-west (I think), run by Todd somebody, and the other in New York I believe by Andrew. So one is still around? That's crazy. Anyone here ever used a LaserDisc, an Amiga, and a genlock? Oh, the good old days... Quote:

Hi!
Yeah, I used a number of your timing scripts on my A1200 back in the day. You still time on that thing, huh? I guess old habits die hard? Glad to see you've kept up w/ the hobby. I've kind of fallen out of anime over the years... not a ton of time to watch much of what I want, unfortunately. Real life... all that. In fact, if I watch anything now it's generally stuff I liked back in the early 90's. Never been to Kansas, but you never know whey you may wind up. That still leaves the question: Andy Brewer still around? I remember him going to a good school (Brown or Columbia) so something tells me he's running a Fortune 500 somewhere... |
