Wow! An anime from this manga. I really love Kyoko, the manager. I am just weak for female characters like her. first episode was awesome, even though they added a character that I have never seen in the manga yet.

did anyone mention this before? this show feels a bit like Toradora, except the mini girl is pairing with the spec guy, not sure will it be developed as well as Toradora or not

To be honest though, I don't see this series going into the serious romance Toradora was. People who have read the actual source of Working might prove me wrong, of course, but so far it just seems to be another slice-of-life kind of thing.

I don't think this will be anything like TRDR. TRDR was a [more] serious romance story, I think this is just a fun slice of life story.

So, the audience effects the author's opinion in regards to how he/she wants to write relationships. First mistake Midonin. If that were true in regards to shipping, Rowling would have kowtow'd to the Harry/Hermione shippers despite originally intending and in the end having a Harry/Ginny end.

Haven't read the manga yet, but can someone direct me to these pages which supposedly hint something actually happening between Takanashi and Manhater (forgot her name)? Cause I got a feeling this is going to lean towards comedy slice of life with implicit hints of anything with the shippers taking it from there.

But in any case, comedy and slice of life cannot combine into anything on the same level of awesomeness as this. Spoiler for relationship of Inami the man hater and takanashi:

Inami admits she has a crush on Takanashi, and Takanashi admits he feels weird when Inami shows compassion to another guy. For the first couple volumes Takanashi always refer the weird feelings as "pet dog betraying its owner", Takanashi realize it is more than that in the vol 6

Even with the romance, Working!! is certainly more a comedy than a slice of life and more than a romantic story. It is way too unrealistic to be slice of life and romantic story

Hey hey, I resent that. Us of the HMS Harmony were always the vocal minority, especially when HMS Good Ship and HMS Orange Crush (ie. the OBHWF ships) together outnumbered us at least 3:1 (just take a look at any poll/number of shipping threads/member count in the respective ships' sites etc.). Rowling wouldn't listened to us in the first place since we weren't that many.

But that's neither here nor there. XD

I wasn't attacking the authors with that statement. I was attacking the audiences.
