The "dates" were kinda amusing to see this episode especially in the second half. Chinatsu trying to set up herself with Yui is just priceless when they were watching that "drama" movie LOL. (I'm guessing it's more of a horror film with the plot twist...)

i agree, chinatsu and akarin kissed twice already (assuming there was an out of screen one today, wich is strongly suggested). they are so cute together, they are a far better match than with yui

i'm glad ayano, although very slowly, did make the move herself. i was expecting kyoko to see the tickets and ask her to go with her, but she did bring the subject herself in the end.

Really, really, really, really, really cute episode. Ayano x Kyouko is always adorable.

It was all really nice, but you know I'm going to mention the legitimately creepy Chinatsu huffing closeup. If you think I'm not going to post it, you're sorely mistaken.

Wow, Chizuru is back and I hope she kept her "drooling" delusions on the next episode!

Meanwhile, Chinatsu-chan sure got served by being kissed forcefully by Akarin!

I agree that Akari and Chinatsu-chan make for a far better couple.

And the question now is who will steal Toshino-san for herself. So far Ayase is in the lead.

I loved this chapter, the date of ayano and kyoko was too much and I was like chitose watching this chapter...

chinatsu and akari kiss round 2 but now was akari the one who did it, well thank god akari is not in love with chinatsu, she's too damn nice.

i could have sworn the romance turned stupidly horror drama that Chinatsu & Yui watched together somehow has a shitty real life version, also finally the staff acknowledges that the animation style for S3 is bordering on being a horror series

now i wonder what happens if Akane ever saw her angelic pure Akari suddenly transformed into this lust filled beast Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde style from just bumping her head really hard, & doing it with her own friend's little sister (as payback time), did she really violate Chinatsu in a dark alley which is an unfortunate setting?

Episode 8:

Wow. That musical scenes with no dialogues was done quite well imo especially for an opening sequence.

Idk why but the episode had a feeling of surrealism to it. The dream after the OP song was so weird lol. Not because of the different of the art style but also because of how silly and unreal it was. Another thing I found interesting is the first person view of the episode in the first half.

Glad to see Chizuru get some spotlight this episode too. Kaede is a cutie :>

Council president part was awesome. But it also made me kind of sad, I realized that the reason why she is silent because she herself is deaf. But that does not stop her from being awesome.

Sakurako secretly has hots for Himawari judging by that dream. The two of them are really good friends, for now

And lastly Sakurako and Toshino BFF's. They are so much alike.

Looking forward to next week Imuoto episode.

this ep felt kinda weak compared to the previous week strong one, or maybe it's because i dont really like chizuru that much


kyoko is such a good friend making sure the prize will be easy to get for a friend to feel good to actually get it

after doing some googling, i dont see this mentionned anywhere so i think you are wrong in youre interpretation ?

It's probably not mentioned yet in either LN or manga.
But think this for a second - this episode literally showed how she see the world every day. And her world is a world where lips moves yet no sound is coming out. There are also no side sounds either ( like crashing, birds, people talking etc... ).
The only logical conclusion is that she is deaf and cannot hear anything beside little music that played during her episode time.

It's so sad, and yet she smiles and help others.

The only part I like was the silent "strawman millionaire" story of Rize Matsumoto, as well as Chizuru's interaction with Kaede.

Meanwhile, isn't me or the alarm clock from Kyouko and Sakurako sounded creepy?

i thought it was meant to be like making fun off silent films with only mood scene fitting music playing, with the characters expressions & body language being the dialogue, that may be themed after her character whom you can't hear her voice well when she talks, so she might not be deaf as she doesn't seem to use any sort of aid or lip movement reading.
