You must realize, there are just some things that you don't mess with, or seek approval for messing around with. The Orimura dynamic is one such thing.

Change their genders? Why not, makes it interesting.

Have Madoka be there from the get-go? Sure, why not?

Introducing more Orimura clan members to the mix? ... meh, starting to step out onto the ice patch here.

Make an existing character from the same series an Orimura? ...nope; you're grounded 'flyboy'. It has already been 'established' that 'Orimura' = badassed. Houki, or any of the other girls do NOT meet this requirement. Based solely off of fighting ability, only Tatenashi comes close enough and she also has her own 'Oneesan' card as well.

Don't tell us the idea beforehand - just make it happen. Once we see it on paper, then we can make a less biased opinion on it...

Although that might not be enough even for Blitz...

It will NEVER enough for Blitz. And beside, I have to finish the Cecilia one-shot, helping my brother with his Code Geass fic, and Beta-ing the first chapter of Sarashiki's Chapion for Akisa Akimune.

And Houkis is Badass in my fic. There is a reason why the three sister was called the Hydras.

"Of course! This is that Rabbit's fatherland after all. You, and you. Try to gather information about these runaway. Asking every person whether did they saw the fourth! (Handled pictures of Tabane and the three Orimuras)"

"They have to be! But if the villagers try to hide them... Do anything to make them spill it out!"

That remind me, SEED, Gundam are not the only Plastic Figure, right? So what if Tabane try to make a universal system that incorporate every Mecha series? For example, a Gurren Langann versus Arbalest?

But Patlabor, Muvluv, and Macross are fair deal (they're made by Kotobukiya, who also produce Robot Damashii series of gunpla)

Then again, you'll probably cry when your 3000+ yen HG TSF got wrecked by 1000 yen scratch-built gundam

“Uh, yeah, more or less,” he gave a sigh. “This recent fiasco with a ‘ball’ coming up is driving me insane with ‘you-know-who’”.

She was hard pressed to hide a smirk at his complaint. Of course those girls would be pressuring him at every opportunity to ask any one of them to the upcoming gala. With it being a masquerade type ball, it was sure to get the girls up and going. Some of the girls had long since invited male friends but now with crunch time upon them, the remaining population was sure to be zeroing in on her hapless little brother. Knowing that, she thought it might be a good idea to provide some ‘relief’ for his ‘tortured soul’ as well as quiet down that nagging portion of her psyche that all but demanded that she at least seriously maim those who dared to claim *her* outoto.

“Well just tell them that you’ll be attending with me,” Chifuyu told him in her usual tone of voice that brook no objection.

Ichika swore that every time she spoke like that, lightning struck, thunder rumbled, and a cute little kitten died somewhere in the world. That actually made for a lot of dead felines. Her words then sunk into his brain after floundering in the dense sea of his psyche. “Eh!? With you!?”

“What’s with that tone, huh? So you want to be fed to the wolves, bit by bit,” her eyes had narrowed and her grip on her arms tightened ever so slightly, which meant the fabric crumpled. Five kittens died at once just now.

“N-no th-that’s not what I meant!” Ichika quickly waved his hands in front of him to ward off her angry stare that could make the Buddha flinch. “I just thought that you… y’know, might have someone…already?”

Chifuyu resisted the ‘oh so tempting’ urge to smack him yet again. She had to settle with sarcasm this time. “Hn, now how would I have time to do something like roping a man to go to an event like this with?”

“…yes, I see. Make me feel even worse why don’t you…”

She sighed. “If I didn’t, then you wouldn’t get anywhere. Now, do you want to or not?”

“Erm, I guess…?”

“Way to make a girl feel special,” she retorted, feeling a bit more upset than she knew she should. “Because every girl wants to hear, ‘dur , I guess’ after she tries to ask a guy out. I’m starting to think I’m doing those brats a favor by doing this.”

“Hey!” He gave a familiar sigh. “Not many guys get asked out by their superstar IS champion sisters to escort them to a gala, if they’d even considered for such a thing.”

“So you do realize it. Act more appropriately next time,” she chided him.

“Hai,” he slumped alongside her. “Why now? I mean, there were other times when we could have spent time together: why this?”

She gave a sigh. No use in hiding it from him – this wasn’t related to how to operate an IS in the arena. Social graces were an entirely different class; one she knew she couldn’t teach well. Things were better seen and experienced to the Orimura. “I want you to see things from where I’m looking at it, Ichika. Maybe this will give you a new perspective on the actual ins and outs of this business. That and I feel like showing off my handsome little brother,” she teased, smacking the back of his head lightly.

If anything, that KO’ed Ichika into silence.

Shell of [Masquerade]. It's planned to be a sizable one-shot. Chronologically to occur after the events of [Weekend]. Thanks to Squall, I have the burning desire to place Chifuyu in formal wear.

No sooner than 5 secs that the whole neighborhood was shaken by Chifuyu's voice. Birds stop singing, Dogs stop barking, Infants stop crying... Heck, even the Earth stop moving!
