* Starts with Ukitake and he takes away Lilinette's sword. Ukitake nimbly avoids Lilinette, as she tries to take it back.

* Lilinette cries and challenges him: "I'm definitely going to catch you and kill you!" ,Ukitake: "You don't put your hips into it!". Also scold her for two pages.

* Lillinette is on the cover page , Several page are dedicated to Omaeda acting as a decoy

* Soi Fon's Ban Kai is called Suzumebachi Raikou. Her right arm becomes a gigantic bee stinger-like weapon.

* Soi has a monologue about why she didn't want to use it. It makes her stand out and hinders her duties as an assassin.

* ( Note : think the sash wrapped around the building is so that she doesn't get blow away by the attack's recoil.)

* Soi Fon fires a huge beam at Barragan and there's an explosion?

* Description of Various Techniques

Well. I feel very underwhelmed. I mean, her shikai was a two-hit K.O. so it was obviously going to be difficult to give her something better. That's why I imagined it would be an ability that would complement her initial skill. Invisibility, time stop, imbalanced shunpos, heck, even a ranged equivalent of her shikai would be deadly.

Soi Fon: Yay! Time for my bankai! Kubo, let's see what you got me for Christmas...
Soi Fon: BAN.KAI!
*Transformation*
Soi Fon: You gave me... a big ass laser beam.
Soi Fon: I will now hang myself to this building.

Ummm...yeah...

Kubo blatantly stalled in this chapter, a couple of pages of Lilinette crying and several pages on decoy Omaeda...?! Thats not a good sign...

Also, I called it back in chp 357 it seems...ha.

I still cant digest the fact that Uki is trash talking . Somehow I just cant bring myself to acept it . First he had shown a Loli-Shota obsession with shiro, now Loli-nette . Put your hips into it can meet a lot of things , but the pretext it was used now isn't those other things.

Also like the way KT is juxtaposing of the various fights , he simply drew the attention away from Halibel by introducing Lilinete. I felt the sash preparation was a trap to use bankai . But here its directly being used to aide Ban Kai . Also want to badly see how the stringer appears .

I can so see that happening!

I really hope that there is much more to it! Well there has to be since it is only a small spoiler and only one chapter with her bankai... but if it really won't have anything good, I really don't blame her for never using it...

And as I expected Kubo won't show us Halibel for some time now... it is possible that it will be Ukitake/Halibel later... Ukitake can find a way to take Lillinete down without hurting her much and that is when Halibel cracks the ice and PWNs Hitsugaya...

The irony in this, is that now that she's tied to a building with a big laser instead of a sword, she's also got no escape from the rot breath.

I mean, if the bloody cloth holds well against her bankai's recoil, how is she meant to take it off? If she shoots it, wouldn't that send her into the stratosphere? Sounds like the worst idea ever to me. Can't blame her though, Kubo has been doing... poorly.

Actually I also don't get how the clothing has to help her... wouldn't it be logical to put a big pillow behind her? 0_o

wow we waited a week for a giant needle....i don't get how this is going to help her against barragan. from what im readin, it reminds me of the bankai of amagai (from anime only filler arc), 'cept that was actually cool and made an even cooler battle horn noise.

ukitake does not bother to take things seriously does he? i think its less of loli love and more of the fact that he just thinks everyone small is kiddish...

its too many things going on and the scenes change too randomly/quickly...my head hurts.

Kinda too early to tell from the looks of it will be more interesting than last weeks chapter IMO. As the brief summary hints at an action packed chapter somewhat aided by a coherent plot. Ukitake is a refreshing change always

Really? You interpreted it as action packed?

It seems like theres going to be at least 4 pages of humor around Lillinette and Omaeda, and then were going to have a monologue with Soi Fon and flash backs to her bankai use. Besides Omaeda running it seems like the only other action is the KABOOM from Soi Fons Bankai on the last page.

I hope Im wrong though...
