why, she is clearly not. her eyes arent the right colour RED and her skin is not tanned like scars, and i do not think thay the military would let an ishbalan to the rank of lieutenant. one thing i am confused about is the alternate reality thing, lust reading a newspaper with the headline 'british {?commander?} murdered', on the train to risembool to repair ed and al after their first encounter with scar.(in the manga)

Chapter 59 and 60 disturbed me greatly. I can`t understand how characters such as Roy would participate in the Ishvalan genocide. It`s simply disgusting. I would refuse, even under threat of being courtmarshalled. Then again, my opinion might be coloured by the fact that my grandmother lost almost all her relatives in the holocaust, but still.....

You can never say "I will never.." till you're actually asked. I mean, i hate war, and I think it's reflected greatly in this manga, the way you get into the military with dreams and hopes and then you see what war is really all about, and you die inside. But if it were my life on the line, if I was going to be executed for refusing, of course I'd go.
I think that "getting to know what war is all about" thingy is exactly what's happening with american soldiers in the iraq war (funny that you could say they're reenacting the war of Ishbal). I think it's ironic how this manga goes out of its way to forsee the future and narrate the present. |

Even normal people will hurt / kill others if they are commanded to do so by a person in a position of authority. This was demonstarted in a test where people were brought in and told to electrocute a prisoner to get information out of them (it was all fake but the prisoner pretended to be electrocuted). Almost everyone administered high levels of electricity after being told that the prisoner was faking being in pain and deserved to be tortured. Some people even administered fatal levels without the authority figure ordering this. |

i love her character also.
there are so many interesting people in FMA, thats why i love it. the wait is so long and when the next chapter comes out, that satisfaction of feeding your FMA crave only last until you finish reading the chapter T_____T i hate it so T____T |
