HI, BILLY MAYS HERE

Ok, so everyone's arguing about the merits of Captain Komamura using bankai against the mere Fraccion Po...But Komamura swing that giant thing around using his bare hands and pure strength alone...Doesn't he deserve to bust out bankai for more serious ass-whopping?

But still, the mindless violence has to be rationed. Don't want to see cool attacks like bankai wasted on small fries too often, but you don't want to have meaningless drawn-out battles because the characters are holding back either. It's gotta be done just right. I hope we see some of Ichigo vs. Ulq next chapter. That would help get out the filler aftertaste. I don't really expect to see Espada or captains do anything for a couple more chapters besides talk. And there's a good chance the remaining fraccion are going to go up against the VC's first. And I'm guessing the vizard won't show up until one side is own the verge of victory. Unless there's more surprise guests: Urahara, Yourichi or Isshin... Ulq and Ichigo's fight is what I'm mostly interested in

Yeah, shounen physics don't allow for supporting protagonists to take stage until the main protagonists are beaten down and backed in a corner...It's going to take some unsuspecting or relative ass-kickings to the Soul Reapers by the Espadas and/or Aizen/Tousen/Ichimaru before characters like the Vizards, Isshin, Ryuuken, Urahara, and Yourichi take up and show off...
You know, Grimmjow's been defeated by Ichigo, but he's still alive, so I have a feeling Grimmjow will become an ally for Ichigo somewhere down the line, either against Ulquorra or Aizen...Wouldn't surprise me...It'd actually be kind of cool of Ichigo gets his ass kicked by Ulquorra and Grimmjow steps in for some Espada-on-Espada action...

it sure is good if that happens yeah ^,,..,,^
but I have a good hunch that Ulquiorra is really a VL arrancar and I wont be surprised if Ulquiorra managed to beat the hell in each and every shinigami in HM of course, most likely it's not gonna happen. just have to wait and see Kubo-sensei do the job ^,,..,,^ |

Aizen must be very confident in Ulquiorra's abilities, though. He's very outnumbered and yet Aizen didn't give him any back up.
I mean, look who is still in Hueco Mundo: Good guys: Byakuya Kenpachi Kurotsuchi Ishida Renji Rukia Unohana Isane Ichigo Orihime Hanatoro Nel Bad Guys: Ulquiorra Grimmjow (unable to fight) And as far as I know, Yammy is still unaccounted for. Either Ulquiorra is strong enough for being heavily outnumbered not to be a problem, or Aizen doesn't actually care what happens to Ulquiorra (which is a possibility given the kind of person Aizen is). |

I always saw Ichigo/Renji as that comparison, that said, I always thought and it has been noted before by many that Grimmjow will be/is the Renji type character of the Hueco Mundo Arc. Mainly because of the similarities in character and just the way their characters have played out over the arc. It's still up in the air but seems plausible, so that temporary replacement of Grimm's Vegeta to Ichigo's Kakarotto is on hold.
The Arrancar and Soul Society and Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra have to be the focus of the story. Even though with Grimmjow still breathing, the Vizard approaching, other characters actions still a mystery and whatever it was that Mayuri found in Hueco Mundo there is still various other angles that could be touched on that could and will have critical effect on the main focus of the story. There just needs to be some pen to paper to begin. |

What's the big deal about Po's size? We've seen lots of enemies that size and they're all weak. Jidanbou, Grand Fisher, Runaganga. Hell, an ordinary menos gillian is easily as big or bigger than Po.

Good guys who even stand a chance of cutting Ulquiorra: Byakuya Kenpachi Unohana Ichigo Nel Even now, we have to remember that Kenpachi could barely cut Nnoitra, no.5. Ulquiorra has shown extreme combat prowess, not even taking his opponents seriously, and taking a Getsuga Tenshou from Hollow Ichigo's Bankai, simply by using two hands, and taking very little damage. Since the new Espada from approx no.5 up are definitely Vasto Lorde, they are above the old standard of Espada. We can assume that Nel, even fighting seriously, at her best level, will be reduced to the level of about Espada no.4. So she's just an equal. But take into consideration the fact that in her release form, she could only barely manage to daunt Nnoitra, who is no. 5. *shrug*. She's just about as strong as Ichigo, maybe. Kenpachi will also have lotsa trouble in this fight since he's going to have to go ALL OUT, just to be able to cut. Same with Ichigo, Nel, and Byakuya. But hey: Kenpachi may get to a dying point, wherein he may finally be able to hear his Soul Cutter. Then, presto. Out comes Kenpachi with Shikai!! Probably... Byakuya wil probably be able to cut Ulquiorra with some effort. H'ed have to go all out. Remember: Ichigo's Bankai was pretty equal to Byakuyas. Yet Ichigo in Bankai cannot cut Ulquiorra. He meeds the Mask. So I imagine Byakuya will be in serious trouble if he joins this fight. Not to mention the fact that he went and cut up his freaking legs already... They'll ALL have to super-multi team Ulquiorra to take him down, is what I say. Though it'll be interesting to see Unohana fight. I REALLY wanna see her in combat.

Kenpachi pretty easily cut Nnoitra when he decided to put two hands on the sword. He'd likely have to use Kendo again in order to cut Ulquiorra at all, but he'd have to be a *massive* step up from Nnoitra for Kenpachi to barely be able to do anything with Kendo. He went from doing almost nothing to Nnoitra to almost cutting him in half with one swing by putting his second hand on the sword.

Doubt Ulq will be harder to cut then Noi, If Noi didnt lie about his hierro he should be a step harder to cut then Ulq. Besides, we have no idea how Kenpachi is all out either, he is allways holding back and i cant say for sure wether he used 100% of his power against Noi, most likley i would say he didnt. Unohana will probably be able to take on Ulq by herself, remember she is one of the strongest in SS, 1 of the 4 that remains from the original guard before Yama founded the academy, that means shes a beast and a measly #4 wont stop her if she decides to step in. |
